We just joined the $9 Fare Club because with that we saved over $200 on the fare. Couldn't pass up $27 airfare. By joining that, the carry-on fee is reduced to $15/per bag when you do it online ahead of time.

Last March we upgraded to the "Big Front seat" at no charge.

Curious - how did you upgrade w/out extra cost?

Spirit is great if you do evertyhing on line. Don't even try to call..a nightmare!!!
Gate agents are courteous and helpful. Flights are usually un time, although they are always overbooked.
