Spirit $9 club?

Can one spouse be a member-and reserve for their spouse as well? Or does every ticket need a member number?

Have seen $109 return, but $59 return flight if a $9 member-may as well join I guess.

Any secret email deals sent to $9 members?

Only one person has to be in the $9 club.....we reserved for 4 people for October and only paid for me to have it.

From their web site
"Benefits apply to you and up to 8 additional passengers on your itinerary. Passengers must be reserved on the same booking confirmation number as the $9 fare club member in order to receive membership benefits."

I have not received any secret deals that I know of.......receive an email with specials once in a while.
