Spinoff...What do you call a pacifier?

My parents called it a dummy or dum-dum when we were little.

My sisters called it a no-no or a plug with their kids.

The first brand we were given (at the hospital) was Binkie. From then on, a pacifier, no matter what kind has been called a Binkie. (My son only used that style of Binkie and then they discountinued it and we had to buy a supply online to get us through until he no longer needed one). My DD used a different kind and brand.

I remember my dad calling it a dummy. My oldest daughters called it their sucky, my son called it his loo loo and my youngest daughter called it her soobie.

Paci here as well. (And I think it was binky where I grew up.)

My DS owned one, but used to turn it around and teeth on the handle instead of sucking on it.
