I got this idea from the DCL board. They have an awesome thread going about the shocking things people have seen on cruises.

So what is the most shocking thing you have seen at a theme or amusement park? Doesn't have to just be a Disney park. It can be your local theme park, or a carnival for that matter!

Let the funny stories begin!

I saw a man at Wet 'n Wild in Orlando with an incredibly obscene tattoo covering his back.....I'm not talking "naughty", I'm talking full XXX-rated, graphic, disgusting, would embarrass Hugh Heffner "obscene". It was so detailed, it looked like a photograph. He was with a woman and a small boy, no less. First time I saw him, he was being told by an employee to put his shirt on. After an argument, he did. Fifteen minutes later, he had it off again and was again being told to put it on. He did. Five minutes later, I saw him again with his shirt off. Another guest was leading an employee toward him and then I saw him and his wife? and son? being escorted out of the park.

Last week at WDW, I was shocked to see an older teen (16-18, at least) wearing a baseball cap that had the 4-letter F word followed by "it" on it, only the C in the F word had been removed.

Mom slapped her teenage DD in the mouth twice in the line for Soarin'.

Dad helping kid to pee in the bushes at Epcot.

Drunk guy tackled a duck on the CR beach and held it down squawking so his 2 year old DD could aggressively pet it.

Poopy diaper placed on top of a WDW garbage can. WHY?? Was it THAT much harder to put it IN the can.

Basically, poorly behaving adults.

Mom holding a ziploc bag so her son could wee in the Tower of Terror line. I had the worst time trying to get my mom NOT to point and laugh.

Also had a diaper change in line for TSMM, but yay for the wheelchair line, we got diverted away from the smell.

When I was a kid, my parents and I saw a fight break out in the line for Living With the Land and saw an entire family escorted out. Would have been the early 90s.

Several years ago WDW had a patriotic celebration going on at the front of MK. While a band played the CMs handed out very small US flags to some of the children. While the children were waving the flags, the lady next to us reached over and took flags away from two children and handed them to her children. I was absolutely shocked but a CM saw what happened and brought more flags.

Saw a guy punch a Disney bus driver who wouldn't lower the wheelchair ramp for his stroller.

Saw a family with two teenage girls, one pushing a woman in a wheelchair towards the elevator in the Land pavilion. The girl pushing bumped into the other girl. The other girl smashed her head into the wall.

Sooooooo many obscene shirts and just plain inappropriate outfits. One woman at AK was wearing tights as pants and a shirt not long enough to cover her bottom. The tights were so sheer you could see that she was wearing a blue thong.

I saw a drunken brawl on a bus. They were actually on the floor in the aisle plummelling each other.

Well as the mother of three daughters, 2 of them now past their teens, that first statement isn't all that shocking. Of course I would have waited until we were back in the car. :rolleyes1

:bump:

I was getting off the monorail at MK last fall and as we were walking towards the ramp, two "men" were screaming at one another as they were coming out of their monorail car and trying to punch one another as other men tried to break it up. From what I could gather one of the men pushed the other's wife out of the way so he could sit and then hit her when she said something to him about it. All I know is that is a pretty rough way to start your morning at the Happiest Place on Earth. :confused3

When we were at AK last month, there was a woman probably in her 50s or 60s walking through the park wearing an obviously sheer (well at least obvious to DH and I) black dress/swimsuit coverup that revealed her thong panties. :crazy2::scared: I can't believe that her travel companions or security for that manner did not at least bring it up in casual conversation.:rolleyes1

At our local amusement park, there was a girl wearing a very short skirt with no underwear on who was obviously on her period!! So gross

When I was on a resort bus, a kid (had to be 8 or 9) was eating goldfish crackers and wiped his hands all over my white dress shirt (was going to a signature restaurant that night). I confronted his mother about it and she went on a rant about how her child can do anything he wants because Disney has no rules. Needless to say I had to buy a shirt at the hotel in order to eat so I wasn't charged for cancelling my res at the last minute. Will never take the Disney bus again.

Years ago at Typhoon Lagoon we were sitting in our chairs having a snack, when a fight erupted behind us between a family off four (two small children in the family) and a group of teenagers/young adults. It seemed to be over a white pool towel. The teens were nasty and the family looked like they wanted to die. It was terrible, just as I turned to my husband to say I was going to look for help from a cast member, security showed up to diffuse the situation and they escorted the family away. I felt like the teen group should have been asked to leave. The whole scene left me with that awful feeling in the pit of my stomach.

The grossest thing I ever saw was when we were about to enter the Toy Story Mania line first thing in the morning. As we headed in, a teen boy came out, who had apparently been sick. His whole face and shirt were covered with vomit.....it was so bad, I closed my eyes and couldn't help but gag a few times. I felt terrible for the kid, but it turned my stomach so much, I actually felt ill myself.

Last year at Food & Wine we saw an underage girl being reprimanded. Her friend who was of age was going to the kiosk and buying her drinks. She was clearly drunk & screaming & cursing at security in front of the American pavilion and had her drink taken away but no action was taken. This went on for at least 10-15 minutes. Then about an hour later we saw her in front of a different pavilion being reprimanded for the same thing! I'm surprised she didn't get thrown out.
