It really surprised me in the other thread how many people just flat out don't wear makeup.

I would save so much money if that was the case with me...but I love buying/playing with it. I don't think DH has even seen my full MU collection.

I would say I'm "very lightly, every day". I do do MORE on speical occasions...but if I'm leaving the house, I pretty much at least have on mascara, cheek stain/blush, lip gloss.

What are you?

puckerup:

i wear mascara maybe once a week (m-f). i wear lipgloss or lipstick 2-3 times m-f. on the weekends if i am going out i always wear mascara, eyeshadow, and lipstick. if i'm not going out (and by out i mean going to the movies/dinner/club/bar, not running errands) on the weekends, i won't wear any.

i don't need blush (if i am not wearing foundation) because my face is naturally pretty rosy.

for special occasions i will wear foundation, but i don't like wearing it every day.

i guess i'm somewhere in between all natural all the time and for special occasions.

Full face, all the time. I save eye shadow, eyeliner, and (usually) super racy lipstick for going out at night, but I put on foundation, mascara, lipstick, and powder to go to the grocery store. The one time I didn't would be the time I run into Mr. Ohhhhh My! at the deli, and I *hate* it when that happens.

I don't wear blush right now, because I've given up trying to fake rosy cheeks. I'm pale and I know it - why fight it? :)

On a daily basis, I wear moisterizer with spf and chapstick

On special occasions, I wear foundation, blush, eyeliner and lipstick.

Some just on specail occasions.

And I actually laughed the other day when DH called me high maintance.

I will not spend money on the stuff. The make up I have..I think I have had for at least 5 years. I buy moisterizer for my chirstmas stocking and easter basket...

So, I think he appreciates it much more.

I also save a ton of money because I have never had a sip of alcohol.

I could not imagine racking up a billof over $100 at a restaurant in drinks!

stinkerbelle, I'm the same as you. BTW, thanks for the cheek tint tips. I went to Target on my lunch and bought the Sonia Kashuk Cheek Sheer (Sundrenched) and her Bronzer (Golden Creme). I don't get sun on my face so I figured I'd try this instead of a powdered bronzer that wipes off easily. I appreciate it!!

Full face for me 99% of the time. On the weekends, it depends on what I am doing. If I am just hanging out around the house or going to my parents or something I don't wear any. I also don't use foundation in the summer (as long as I am tan). For work, I do it all - eyeshadow, liner, mascara, foundation, blush, lip gloss. If it is an evening out, I do my eyes up a little more and wear lipstick instead of lip gloss.

Days I am just at home, or just have to run to Target or the grocery store, I usually don't wear any makeup. Days where I am meeting a friend for lunch, going out to dinner with DH, going to a family event, etc., I wear full makeup. Rarely do I just do a little- it's either nothing, or everything. :p

I don't fit in any of the categories either. I wear it when I'm working etc, but if I'm just aroung the house or running errands I tend not to. In the summer I tend to wear less. I also wear what I would consider to be light makeup, but since I am in my 40's that includes foundation - something I never wore when I was younger but I need it now to even out my skin tone and protect my face.

Full face 99% of the time too. I'm one of those pale skinned blondes with no visible eyebrows or eyelashes. I look deathly ill without some man-made color!

(I wish I could get by without it, however, it's just not meant to be.)

Light makeup (foundation or powder, mascara, blush, light, sheer lipstick) to work or school and special date nights with my BF, that's it. :D

everyday, everything!
foundation, blush, eyeshadow, eyebrows, eyeliner, lipliner & lipstick (sometimes lipliner then gloss) I don't wear mascara ~ but reading this thread, I'm wondering why I don't !!!:teeth:

Oh & I bring a makeup bag with me in my purse - it has powder, eyeliner, lip liner, a brow pencil, & about a dozen (yes really) lipsticks & glosses for touch-up purposes.

Woah ~ I sound high maintance !!!!princess:

I don't work, so usually I'm just running around the house or running errands. So, I wear just a little make-up usually--light powder, a little blush and maybe lip gloss. If I'm going to be going out to lunch I might put on eyeshadow. If I'm going out in the evening I might put on mascara. If it's a special occasion, then I'll break out the eyeliner.

I break out easily. so not too much here and only when I go out. My work environment is totally casual so hardly ever to work. I still have a full clinique blush that I bought for my wedding almost 10 years ago...lol...I need to go through my drawers more often. i just threw out the clear mascara I wore at the wedding a couple of months ago. Do they even make that anymore??

I don't wear make up. I did have a little(very little) on when I got married and I just didn't like it.

I LOVE Products!!!! Makeup,Hair stuff ect.......
I wear makeup everyday!! And if we go out I like to wear ALOT!!! I have fun with it!! :teeth: I love being a girl!!

I have never found the time to put make-up on. I have friends who wouldn't be caught dead going out to get the mail without their makeup. Not me, I just don't care to wear any.

I bought the cheek sheer in Sunkissed this weekend...looked REALLY dark on a first swipe...but it really sheered out nicely once I blended it.

I got my mom hooked on these things too...she prefers them to powder much better now!

Also - if you are looking for something with a bit more color for your face - Revlon skinlights Face illuminating lotions are nice...plus they have SPF in them. (15 I believe). the bottle is huge, but you just need a dab to put some color on your face.

Trust me -- no one wants to see me running around without my makeup!:scared1:

(Think of the children!)

I like Benefit's boi-ing and even out -- as someone else already pointed out, a woman of a certain age needs to "even things out". And mascara -- let's just say I'd want it even if I was stranded on a desert island.
