Spinoff: How old is your car and how many miles?

We drive our cars to death then pass them on to our DS's.:lmao:
DS1- 1999 Lexus 250,000
DS2 2000 Lexus 150,000
DH 2002 Yukon 267,000 2005 Lexus 81,000
Me 2003 Jaguar 140,000 2004 Lexus convertible 67,000
All paid for and the kids just keep getting hand me downs until they get out of college. DH gets the next new car/truck then his old Yukon goes into the company fleet. Our employees tend to trash vehicles.

2000 Grand Caravan with 205,000
1995 Camry with 135,000

The Caravan's a/c broke about a month ago and I can't quite decide whether to get it fixed. I think we're going to drive it though the winter and evaluate it in March. I can tolerate no a/c in September but not July, so it will either get repaired or replaced.

We bought both of them low mileage (around 30,000) used.

2002 escape with 165,000 (replaced with 2010 escape-already has 20,000 since Jan 1, 2010, dh travels) we kept the 2002 because it's a great car and ds can use it.

2002 explorer with 130,000

2005 MINI Cooper S, modified with 210 HP at the wheels

123,000 miles. Just completed a 3300-plus mile trip through 10 states in 11 days.

2005 T&C stow-in-go mini van.. Bought it in Feb. or March of 2006 and I think it had 22,000 miles on it - maybe less.. It has 28,000 miles on it now..

Mine's a 2008 and has 61000 miles on it. Most of the miles I've put on it (it had 25,000+ on it when I bought it) have been highway driving, for what it's worth (several trips from St. Louis to Orlando and back, commuting to downtown StL for work for months, etc.)

I have a 2003 Chevy Tracker with 82,500 miles. Will drive it as long as I can, where else can I find a 4WD with a manual transmission.

At a Subaru dealer, of course! My 2001 Outback has 112,000 miles. I'm looking for a new one, my dealer doesn't keep the manuals around on the lot, but he'll get me one.

Me, 2003 with 83,000. Purchased new.

DW, 2000 with 81,000 . Purchased new.

DS 2006 with 50,000. Purchased used in 2007 with 25,000 miles

DD 2007 with 45,000. Purchased used in 2008 with 29,000 miles

Family/weekend/vacation car. 1987 with 135,000. Purchased new.

DM. 2003 with 7,000. Purchased new. (she had her previous car, a Pinto for 27 years and 77,000 miles)

2003 VW Jetta turbo, just bought end of July. 79000 and it now has 81000. I absolutely love it!

2006 Mazda Tribute, bought "leftover" new in 2007. 61000 miles. It's a POS. It has failed 2 out of 3 state inspections for things I don't expect to go wrong.

There is only a couple people that have posted so far that has a car that could compete with my old one!

It was a 2000 Ford Taurus with 250,000 miles on it. We sold it to someone and I would assume it is still running fine.

My new car is a 2008 Chevy Cobalt with around 55,000. I bought it last October with just under 36,000.

Can you tell I do a LOT of driving?? :lmao:

I have a 2007 Mazda CX9. It came to me with about 38k on it (bought 6 months ago or so) and now has about 41k.

Spinoff from the how long do you keep you car thread.....how old is your car and how many miles do you have on it.

I for one love to "mile" up my car...:lmao: I drive that thing everywhere.

Right now I have an '03 Explorer with 172,500 miles on it. And I hope it keeps kicking for a looooong time!

3 cars in our household:
2002 Windstar 127K
2000 Taurus 124K
2007 Outback 57K

2011 Chevy Traverse - 1200 miles
2003 Chevy Impala - 145,000 miles
2002 Chevy Silverado - 160,000 miles

DH has a 2002 Chevy S-10 80,000 miles (bought new).
Me, a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer 70,000 miles (bought new).

I will keep these cars for as long as possible! They look great. Have always been garaged. I love not having car loans. :thumbsup2

I got a 1994 Honda Accord coupe manual transmission with 253,800 miles. It needed major repairs at 250,000 miles and I caved in and had it fixed, so it runs pretty good right now. :drive:

I also have a 2004 Civic with 103,000. It had 2 accidents already so I don't think it will be going to 250,000.

2006 Dodge Caravan...38K miles
1999 Mercury Tracer...somewhere around 90K miles. (DH's car...I never drive it!)
