Spinoff: How old is your car and how many miles?

2005 Vue Redline with 110,000 miles on it.

I'm only going to keep it until the odometer hits 200,000 tho'.

Probably.

Unless I decide I want to do something else with my car fund. . .

We have three cars, all were bought new:

2003 Toyota Camry with 65,000 miles --- used around town in NH and for fishing and skiing. It is garaged in NH when we go to Florida. This is DH's car.

2004 Toyota Avalon with 65,000 miles --- used to travel back and forth to Florida, when traveling outside the local area, and when the Camry is in use in NH. This is my car. :car:

2010 Toyota Corolla with 5,500 miles --- We use this for getting around FL and lugging "stuff". DH's aunt had passed away while we were there last year and we had to clear out her belongings, store them, then distribute to relatives. That little car can hold a lot of stuff! It is garaged in FL when we are in NH.

We had had five other Corollas over the years and knew that was exactly what we needed for our situation. DH likes it best of all of the cars!

I have a 2010 Ford Fusion (not a focus like I thought it was!) and it is less than 6 months old and I just turned over 17,000 miles yesterday. I bought it new and yes I drive alot! My DH drives the focus and its a 2008 and he has 52,000 miles on it and we bought it new a little over 2 years ago and yes, he drives lots of miles a day too!

We have 3 cars:

1968 Volkswagon Beetle (white, just like Heribe).....couldn't tell you how many miles :lmao: Hundreds of thousands easily. Runs like a champ!

1978 Ford Pickup.....3000 on the new motor (changed it 6yrs ago), and over 200,000 on the original motor.

2009 Volvo....15,000 miles....just getting started on that one :thumbsup2

I've got a nine year old Saturn with about 105,000 miles on it. Unfortunately, I doubt it will make it to the usual 250K we normally get from Toyotas. It's a lousy car and I can't wait to get rid of it, but have to wait a few more years.

I have a 2006 Suzuki Aerio, something like 21000 miles on it. Island car that is getting beaten to death.

2000 Volvo with just under 150,000 miles. Bought it a year ago. (In Volvo world, this car is just a baby!)

Speaking as someone who has had 2 Volvos and grew up with my parents driving them, just make sure that your car is serviced as recommended. While they will last a long time, they REALLY need to be serviced regularly to do so.
