Spin off pizza "discussion"

Here's the the thing - it may be cheap but it isn't particularly inexpensive. 3 individual sized pizzas (10") and 8 wings were $40.00. Even Little Caesar's Hot and Ready here are $8/$10/$12 depending on the variety you pick. For 1/2 the price I still wouldn't enjoy it but at least I wouldn't resent it so much. :p

I can get a medium for $6 (US) each if I buy at least two. I can also have pasta or sandwiches as $6 items. It's takeout only though.

Of course the biggest bargain is Costco.

Local place I go to that has good NY style pizza sells their 24" for $19.00.

That's the equivalent of about 3 Large Pizza Hut pizzas.

Little Caesars here is 5.00 for a large cheese pie- don't know how much it is with anything on it but regular pies are 5.00 (and they are gross!)

:crazy2: Their stuff is totally disgusting. Unfortunately my DS got accustomed to eating it in elementary school and for nostalgia's sake, asks for it now every once in a while when it's "his turn" to choose.

I only ever made it to Pepe's in New Haven once. I had a roommate who knew about it from his parents, so we made the long walk. I suppose the clams were worth it to him, but it was too far to trek to be worth it to me.

I've since been to Pepe's in Chestnut Hill twice. I didn't remember the New Haven pizza being as crisp, but I like it enough to keep it on my list for when I'm in the area, not enough to make a special trip for it. It's certainly better than the flatbread pizza near me.

Screenshot_2016-07-17-16-20-52.png I'm not a pizza fan because I hate cheese but I make an exception every once in a while for a slice of Conte's in Princeton. The sauce and crust are so flavorful. I just remove the cheese.

My current favorite here in Lexington, KY is The Bridge pizza with fresh garlic, tomatoes, and artichoke hearts.
