SPIDERS...Why did it have to be....SPIDERS

I want everyone to know that before we left and while we were still at the airport (YWG) all we heard from Queen was "remember to take pictures Jasmine!!!!". I think she did ok!!!!

ok, so I'm just doing a little experiment here to see if I figure out this multi quote thing!!

Ok trivia fans.......the Yacht with the helicopter on it was docked in Cozumel with us. It is called the Meduse and belongs to Paul Allen. He and his friend Bill started a little company you may know as Microsoft. The Meduse is one of 3 yachts Mr Allen owns and it is the smallest of his fleet!!!!!

Please forgive me for once again hijacking your thread!

:blush:Yup....that's true....I did utter those words once or twice....and then I continued to type them over text whenever she had service:lmao:

You'll just have to blame the Winnipegger!!

She certainly did take lots of food porn pics! :rotfl2: Looks like they had a great time and plenty to eat.

And then I'll post reply to see if it works!!
Sorry once again to be imposing on your thread!!

Debbie

And for those who don't understand, I was using this as a lesson on how to answer quotes on the same post!

And it looks like it worked!! Thanks for the lesson!

Awesome cruise pics. Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes Oh, man... all that food porn. I really liked the light with the roses, very nice. That little black dress makes a certain young lady look very refined and mature, don't you think? Did you shed a tear when you saw that? I can't imagine my DDs (10 and 13) that grown up, and when it happens I'm sure I still won't believe it.

Awesome pictures! Thanks so much for posting. Jasmine looks adorable. And she took pics of all the right things - food, shopping, and her cute outfits. Nice work, Jasmine! Oh and the pics from the photographer - beautiful!

Awesome cruise pictures! I'm hoping for a cruise next January and this gets me even more excited!

Yup...she listened to her mama...still can't believe it:lmao:

What wonderful cruise photos! Thanks so much
for sharing!:goodvibes Those photos of Jasmine which were taken by the cruise photographer are stunning!

Too funny seeing that photo of the RBC bldg with the palm trees in front. If I worked there, I would be putting in for a transfer, that is for sure!:rotfl:

I have to agree, she bought 5 from the ships photographer because my understanding is they are not cheap! I kept 3, she gave one to my parents and one to Jeff!

I laughed too when I saw the palm trees in front of the bank....you know you're not in Canada anymore when....:rotfl2:

You are very welcome, I'm glad you were able to have some practice! You should have seen me with photobucket when I first started...I was constantly on the phone with my sister saying "how do I do this or that":cool1:

My friend Dawn commented on how she looks different in these pics than the actual TR pics I'm working on right now and I even see it! I still can't believe I have an 18 year old.:scared1:

I guess all my nagging stuck in her head....I will pass along your compliments to her!

Me too! I told Jasmine I want to do that for my 50th so I have 3 years to save....by the looks of the shopping I'll need that much time:lmao:

Queen is this your spider?

banana_spider.jpg

We call em Banana spiders down here, their real name Golden Orb Weaver spider. They like to build their webs over a trail in the woods. When I hunt I walk through them and FREEK OUT!!! :scared1: I have never been bitten by one, but they still scare me.
The venom of the golden silk orb-weaver is potent but not lethal to humans. It has a neurotoxic effect similar to that of the black widow spider; however, its venom is not nearly as powerful. The bite causes local pain, redness, and blisters that normally disappear within a 24-hour interval. In rare cases, it might trigger allergic reactions and result in respiratory troubles (in asthmatics) or fast-acting involuntary muscle cramps. As the genus possesses relatively strong chelicera, the bite could leave a scar on hard tissue (such as fingers).

Yup that's the one!:scared1: I cannot believe you walk through these when you hunt...I think if that was me we would be vegetarians really quickly :lmao: Thanks so much for letting us know all about them...I love how this shows they really are as big as a man's hand!!!

I got the picture off the web (not my hand). But they get BIG.
We are going to stay at POFQ on May 28th, I will try to do my First TR when we get back. Going to take a bunch of pictures. Write notes during the day so I can remember every thing. Have a good day, and stay away from spiders.

Incredible cruise pictures! I love Jasmine's fashion sense. Where does she get all those cute dresses? Looks like she got quite the bounty from Coach  That store is dangerous. I go into system overload everytime I'm in there.

Enough with those YUCKY spiders!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome pictures from Jasmine's cruise! Looks like she had a blast! I've been to Key West 2-3 times now on cruises, and I've yet to hit the Coach Outlet. Seems I'm missing out! My philosophy is you can never have too many purses. My favorite Key West thing is the chocolate covered frozen key lime pie on a stick. Of course, if you hate key lime pie, it would probably be gross either way

And, I'm holding you and Jasmine personally responsible for catching the cruise bug again ;) Darn sickness is very contagious.

Thanks! I love the Coach outlets that we have here. The best Coach purses I have gotten were at the outlets! Their discount area plus 30% off is a great deal!

Thanks for the hair braiding advice! My former hair dresser in PA used to do cornrows in my hair in the summers when I worked at the little amusement park and I loved it! Sadly I can't do them on myself but I can on others!

The cruise pictures are great, I love all of Jasmines outfits!
I see you've taught Jas well in taking the food pics! Those desserts look sooooo gooooood!!!!

Lexi would love the Justin Bieber section. She is totally in love with JB  He is all she talks about!

Hi Queen! I am so glad to hear Jasmine is home safe and sound! I loved your drawings-Something that will always bring a smile when you guys see it! I miss our WDW meetings!! LOL it was a great night by the pool, you guys are fantastic company!!! How great is it that there are more Winnipeggers on here! Can't wait for your next installment, and the soon to be PTR.

And one more Winnipeg who has been enjoying your report!! Love how I get "The Flood of the Century" "Headingly" "Polo Park" "Brandon", etc. etc.!! :rotfl:
I have been following some TR's for a couple of years and it was great to find a "local" one. I found The Queen through Declan's report - loving it!!

Ha.. so much fun!! Queen's TR is starting to feel like "home"! :goodvibes

And I know all us winterpeggers can totally relate to this freakin cold weather!

Wow, love the pics Jas took on her cruise. It looks amazing. She is such a doll. Love all her dresses. The pic of the Tiggers made me giggle. I haven't tried that yet, but I really need to give it a shot. The girls are getting older so maybe I can give it a go.

I will try my best to get down there during your stay even if just for a couple of days. School starts back in August here so it will be tricky but when there's a will there's a way. :thumbsup2

Hope you are staying warm! It's been in the 60's here the past several days. We are supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow and then back up into the 60's again. I'm so ready for spring!!

Awesome photos of the cruise. Jasmine did a great job with scenery and food (and I love the pics of the crab legs...that's what I am talking about!). Love the photos the photographer took of Jasmine...especially the first one. She just sparkles.

I wasn't able to see any of the cruise pics. Something about needing to upgrade. :guilty:

That spider looks huge.

Glad you had a nice weekend. We were pretty laid back here too. Dh took the kids ice fishing. I stayed home to take down my DS12 train border in his room. Apparently trains aren't cool once you hit middle school. I love the way you embrace Jasmine growing up. I'm hoping to get there. I find it so hard to let go.
