Hiya! I have spent the last couple of hours catching up on your TR. I loved all of your pictures! They were awesome.

I'm home recovering from surgery so I will be sure to keep my eyes open for an update on Jas's cruise. I can't wait to hear all about it.

I'm glad you've enjoying reading it! Surgery....is this from when you broke your ankle? What did you have to have done?

I will for sure have some pictures up on Sunday....they don't arrive in Winnipeg until 1030 tomorrow evening cause you know if they were home sooner I'd have them up

I was just stopping by to see if there were any updates and I just read the cruise one!!! It still makes me super jealous that Jas is on the cruise!!

It seems like they are having a blast shopping! That would be the only thing that would make me nervous as a first time cruise-goer!

Jeff told me he's been practicing his slow-motion-running-towards-her-when-they-come-thru-customs....he told me to take a picture...he's forgotten she has the camera He is so funny and an absolute joy to have around!

Coming through Customs? Does that mean she has a direct flight home?
It would be nice for her to have the direct flight, but nice for you if customs was in Toronto so that she wouldn't have to worry about getting luggage searched etc... at customs! I hate doing customs!! Even the Canadian Customs guy was kind of a jerk to us when we came home!
Well by this time tomorrow you'll probably be headed to airport! (Too bad the new airport isn't open yet!)

I'm looking forward to seeing some of her photos!

How funny that your boss was here....mountain of snow is right!! In 1997 we had a horrid flood...they called it the flood of the century....and they're saying this year could be worse We'll have to wait and see .... the city is protected by a floodway, but it's all the surrounding towns .... it was so sad last time!

When I dropped Jasmine off at the airport it was zero degrees and I had my spring coat on .... today it was -30 again with the wind chill...I got home from work tonight and put on my pj's and that was that...no going out for me

OH and my girls and I had a magical moment yesterday, our Michigan friends will agree with this one.... We went to a mall in Toledo, Ohio yesterday and they had an original DISNEY STORE!!! I was so happy!! The beautiful big props and all!! And everything was so cheap, I forgot how much fun those stores are. It made us want to go to Disney all the more

(And I thought the Cirque du Soleil Dralion tix I got for my oldest daughter and myself were the highlight of the week!! lol)

Nope, foot is still messed up. This is something new. Went to ER thinking I was having a heart attack. It was my gallbladder. Too bad that it wasn't a simple removal but that's my luck!

No not direct, they came thru Chicago but they cleared customs in Wpg which is great, no picking up your luggage it's all done here!

I actually find our Customs people not that friendly ever!! I have always been questioned about travelling along with Jasmine...never going into the states....always coming home! So irritating!! I guess now I won't have a problem though now that she's 18!

I got that shirt at The Bay last year when they had all the Olympic Gear out....but I noticed they still have it this year! I swear all the Canadians that were at the party that night stopped and asked me where I got it!

Well I have to say I'm so happy it wasn't a heart attack...that must have scared the dickens out of you! Gallbladder...was it your first attack? That sucks....I always hear how it's a routine procedure now, quick and easy....funny though....everyone seems to have issues.

I'm happy to report they all made it home safe and sound last night! Jeff came for dinner as soon as he was finished work at 7 and then we spend the night chatting. At 945 we headed out to the airport for their 1007pm arrival. Unfortunately, they were 20 minutes late coming in but we just wandered around the airport until they arrived! I will try and get some pictures uploaded as soon as I charge the camera batteries!! My sister will probably have some pictures she could add here too so I'll check with her!

On with the current TR! This is our second last day in the World! I can't believe this TR is almost over. We would be spending our day at DHS...this is Jasmine's favorite as she could ride ToT and RnRC over and over again.

Here's Jasmine arriving at the gate and as you can see the crowds were amazing on this day! We didn't make it for open but it was just shortly after 9am.

I always seem to stop and purchase something at Crossroads.

Here I go again...walking and taking pictures!

I love to go thru these stores after a day at the studios...it's my favorite way to end our day.

I think I have a picture of this from every trip!

Had to get another picture of Jasmine in front of her favorite ride of all time! I used to be able to do this over and over, but no more! The signs that I'm aging are always apparent at this park for me!

We decided to wander over and do the Backlot Tour....we did it in January, but it was so cold, we thought we would do it when we weren't shivering uncontrolably

We really were just wandering on this day, we had no definite plans..if we wanted to do something we stopped and did it...there was no commando touring for us this late in our trip....just trying to take in the magic of the parks! I have always wanted to stop and watch the Jedi Training from start to finish and this would be the day we would do it....and I must say this guy was not hard on the eyes

I have to say I thought it was so cool when he came out.....it was really something to see!

This little guy was the cutest little thing...he was so into fighting Darth Vadar and didn't flinch once...priceless! Jasmine said, "he intimidates me now" lol

I was happy they picked this older girl....they always seem to centre on little ones and she was having a great time up there!!

From there Jasmine and I decided we would head over to the Animation Studios...Jasmine thought we should do the drawing. For anyone who was in our class if you're reading this I'm so sorry! You see, I can't draw to save my life, and apparently I can't follow directions either! Jasmine looked over at my drawing and she literally was laughing so hard she was snorting....the instructor asked us if we were ok Here is my picture.....laugh away!!

And Jasmine's Tigger...we both decided mine resembled Tony the Tiger more than Tigger!!

We decided on this evening that we would just head back to the resort and have a quick dinner there. Our friends from Winnipeg had arrived the evening before but we were at the MNSSHP so we were hoping to see them tonight.

They called our room just after 8 and we headed to their room....you will know Tiff as DisneyBrat and her hubby and adorable daughter Abby! We then headed to the Singing Spirits Bar where they treated us to a beverage and we sat and chatted and caught up for a couple of hours!! It was so nice to see them again....it's funny that we live in the same city and we only seem to get together in WDW!

They had their own drama, but I'll let Tiff tell you about it on here if she wishes

As for the update....aren't low crowds the best! I love how few people are going in the park with you! The Jedi guy looks pretty cute. Just might have to stop and catch that show in May

The crowds were perfect, I can't think of one time when we went where there weren't crowds, but someday we will get lucky. Oh and do you think the ladies that are sewing in the Backlot Tour are really making costumes? I always wondered that so if anyone knows, we would love to know. lol

Looks like a fun day at DHS! Tiggers can be tricky to draw, probably because of the bounces. Animation Studios and the Jedi Training are both on my list of things to do when my boys are older. I think it would be so cool to watch my boys fight Darth Vadar.

So glad to hear that Jasmine made it home safe and sound! My daughter Chloe was driving in from Brandon on Saturday night and hit black ice and spun out of control in the middle of Hiway #1 just before headingly. She landed in the ditch and thank goodness she was okay and didn't hit anything else!!

I liked your DHS photos and I look forward to hearing about your last day!
FYI: I started a Trip Report!!!! (But I'm definitly not as entertaining a writer as you or some other posters)!
and it's going to be harder for me now to find time to post since I started back at work today after being gone for 6 months and with the full time job and my home salon in the basement.... I'm going to be busy for the next few months!!

Aww.. the joys of work.... it just gets in the way of life!
