SPIDERS...Why did it have to be....SPIDERS

We decided we would do something we hadn't done yet, watch the Move It Shake It Celebrate It parade! We danced right along with everyone else...we had so much fun with this. You can't help but tap your feet and clap your hands...pure joy!!! Jasmine also took these pictures because clearly, I was having far too much fun dancing!!!

At the end of the parade we decided we would look through the stores so off we went! We ended up at the Confectionary and Jasmine decided she couldn't pass this up....so she bought it!!!
412.jpg

I have to share with you this....she will kill me, but I have too, this is the one and only bite she had of this!! She wrapped it up and put it back in the bag....well you know what happened? It started to call to me....yup, just like the ice cream in the freezer at home does....so I may have had a couple of bites:lmao:

After our daily swim and rest, we headed back to the MK for dinner at Tony's Town Square! We hadn't had a great meal the last trip, but I decided to give it another try. Had to take a pic of Lady and Tramp!
414.jpg

We had the best waiter here, he was attentive but not over the top! I had read on a TR that this dish was to die for so I ordered it. It was linguinie in a olive old sauce with shrimp.....I didn't like it! I think part of the problem was that I had been on Weight Watchers since May and I wasn't used to this kind of eating anymore...it felt so greasy and heavy, I ended up only eating the shrimp!
415.jpg

Jasmine decided on the spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious.
416.jpg

We got the waiter to take this picture of us before we ordered dessert. It's another one of my favorites!
419.jpg

This was the dessert I chose....they called it pumpkin cheesecake, but I would say it was more like a mousse, it was so light and delicious. If you like pumpkin you would love this! Jasmine decided she was too full for dessert so skipped it.

We watched Wishes after dinner because as far as we're concerned you can never see it too many times! We wandered to the bus after it was over and it was insane! During the day the park seemed practically empty but apparently everyone went to the buses at the same time! As we were waiting, this small Asian woman walked in front of the crowds with her teenage son draped over her. I said to Jasmine "he's in trouble and she's going to drop him". Sure enough, down he went! Before we knew it an ambulance pulled up and got him in there. Jasmine was quite upset by this and I told her it was probably lack of fluids and as soon as he was hydrated he would be ok. What shocked us at this point was that where the ambulance pulled up meant that our bus couldn't leave without backing up and because their was another bus behind him no one was going anywhere. I couldn't believe my ears when people very loudly started complaining about this...REALLY???? This kid just passed out and you're upset cause the bus can't leave for a few minutes?? I looked at Jasmine with that "did I hear them right" look....she just shook her head! There were a few times on this trip it was very hard for me not to say something, but what good does it do?

The boy was in the ambulance was still there when we left and we just hoped and prayed he was ok....once again thanking our lucky stars that we were healthy enough to stand and wait for a bus.

Chip & Dale in those outfits really just confuse me at times. I think they need something cuter for here! Is it something from a cartoon I missed? :confused3

Great updates! I love all your pics and the sweet moment between the two of you have me tearing up now and then. You're having such a nice trip. It was great meeting the two of you at Epcot, though I'm sure it was crazy obvious how uncomfortable the first time actually meeting a DIS'er in the parks made me. You looked great, btw! Glad you made it over to Norway for lunch. I'd forgotten you were talking about that until reading your TR. We haven't checked it out there yet. I'll add it to our list now, too. :goodvibes

Can't wait to read the rest!

I'm not sure where those outfits come from, I've never seen them before this trip!

I said to Jasmine after we left you guys that morning, that I thought I had scared you...I felt really bad! Jasmine was so sweet and said "I'm sure it's because no one expects to see someone they recognize at WDW"...if I did startle you I'm so sorry. I was just so excited to see someone I knew from the boards in a chance meeting! Jasmine thought Andrew was just the sweetest little thing, I guess he was chatting her up on the bench while you and I were talking.

You really should add it...I love the outdoor seating too, although there were a tons of birds!

HAHA! I must have finished my post just at you finished yours. Fun morning! You got some great pictures at MK. I love that "foot" pose! :lmao:

Please don't feel bad! I did have a little panic attack, but it really was exactly as Jasmine said. I should've paid more attention to your PTR and I would've been prepared, right? :rotfl: It was kinda funny when I saw you standing up. I kept telling dh "I think I know this person from the DIS. What do I do now?? I never thought I'd actually see someone here!" I just have some anxiety issues so please don't worry about it. :goodvibes Glad Andrew was being sweet. This was his first WS journey without a stroller to hop on so he was pretty worn out at that point!

Love the new pictures! How do you decide which to frame????

We took our girls for their 7th b-day. (Okay, the trip we planned fit in nicely with the free voucher for their 7th bday, so we planned it for that weekend. :lmao:) We watched the Celebrate parade and one of the dancers gave a streamer to my girls (birthday pins caught her eye!) I draped it in our hotel room for the visit and threw it out when we left. They currently give me grief over the darn thing. Seeing your parade pictures helped me with a plan. Maybe if they watch another parade (haha - did you see them in my TR impatiently waiting while I took pics...) they can receive another?! :rotfl2:

Another great day! (Except for the poor boy in the ambulance. I'm with you. It always amazes how self centered people can be. I mean where are these people trying to get to. Their hotel room so they can go to bed. I don't think the extra 10 minutes will impact them one iota. You are right though. Saying something isn't going to do any good.) I love the relationship you have with Jasmine. It must be so wonderful to watch her become such a great person!

That's hilarious, I thought the same thing!:lmao:

Next year we're coming from Aug 21 - Sep 3...maybe we'll run into you again:goodvibes

Thanks Debby....I usually go by other peoples opinions on which ones to frame because I can never make a decision on them:lmao:

That`s so funny that they still bring it up! They look as happy as Jasmine in some of the pictures when I`ve asked her to pose :rotfl2:

All caught up Queen!:thumbsup2:yay:

KIM

Hey Kim!

Hope you guys had a great Christmas!!!

Thanks Jenny!

I used to never hold my tongue, but age has mellowed me a lot! I am so very proud of her! She has always been a good kid and I love the fact that she still wants to hang out with me every chance we get!

All caught up. Very cute pics of our girls!! Love your day at Epcot. Parks looked soooo empty then.

MK that empty in the morning must have been awesome.

Did you guys enjoy Tony's? This was one our least favorites of the entire trip, the only part of the meal I really remember enjoying was the chocolate sketch of Lady and the Tramp with the cheesecake. Maybe it was just an off night though.

Love the pics you guys got with the characters, especially the one with chip and dale...it turned out great!

That is sooo sad that people actually are more concerned with getting back to their hotel, than with the fate of a little boy in an ambulance...some people:confused3

Can't wait to hear more

I loved how you mentioned watching Wonderful World of Disney as a child! That was a Sunday night ritual in my house too. Mom would make a big bowl of popcorn and the whole family would sit and watch Disney :goodvibes

Jasmine did a great job with the pictures :thumbsup2 Move Shake It is always fun!

How scary it must have been for that mom and her son and then for people to be rude? Unfortunately, our last 2 trips we have run into a lot of rude people at Disney :sad2:

Nice update and looking forward to more :)

Hi! I have been enjoying your TR. My mom and I used to go on lots of mother-daughter Disney trips and we had the best time. Your TR sort of reminds of those trips we used to take.

That would be awesome to be able to do both MNSSHp and MVMCP! I really want to go over my 21st birthday next year and go to MVMCP and I am hoping they start the MNSSHP the beginning of September so I can go to that on our summer trip!

I love the matching plaid outfits! :cutie:

Very cute about Jasmine letting you sit back and her taking pics she needs to become a DISer!

I love the Laugh Floor! I always have such a great time there! I love corny jokes

Dinner at Tony's looks so good!

Great pictures of MK on your relaxing day!

Can't wait to hear more popcorn::

I have to say that Tony's used to be one of our favorite spots, but the last couple of trips it has been less than stellar:confused3 If we don't visit again, it wouldn't be the end of the world....much rather pick somewhere else to be honest!

It really makes you wonder where these people's heads are at doesn't it?

Us too...dinner, bath time, hair in rollers, Wonderful World of Disney....it was the best!!! It made me so sad this trip just how many rude and ignorant people we ran into. Jasmine and I kept saying "don't they know how lucky they are to be here" I just don't get it!

I hope that you get to do that!!

I told Jasmine we're going for her 21st birthday so she can she she was legal around the world:rotfl2:

I'm all caught up too!!

The food at Tonys looks pretty good. I was not fond of our meal several years ago but it was in the middle of summer for lunch on one of the hottest days and eating hot heavy pasta didn't mix with us and we didn't enjoy the food very much! I guess I'll have to give it another try maybe!

Woohoo!! Updates! :rotfl: I love, love, love spending a whole day in World showcase! It's not something I get to do often. In fact the only time I have ever been able to was when it was Just my fiance and I last summer. We did the drink around the world and really took our time at each pavilion. It was a great day!:thumbsup2 We spent most of the 4 days we were there at Epcot.
The picture of Jasmines feet cracked me up! It's true though, so many people take shots of there feet on the TTA. Too cute!
BTW I started a PTR and put a link in my signature. Will you follow me? (Is that pathetic or what?!) :goodvibes
Fantastic updates!:thumbsup2

I was thinking of you on Christmas Day and here I sit on New Years Eve thinking of you again so far from home and your family! I remember those times as a child when my dad was overseas peace keeping......

Jasmine is looking forward to the drinking around the world when she turns 21! Who am I kidding, I can't wait either! They have amazing cocktails there!

Jasmine and her feet, it cracked me up too! She lurks on here all the time, but never posts...she really needs to get on that. Maybe once she's home from her cruise, I'll get her to put up a post or 2 to let everyone know how it went!

Your PTR is great! I can't wait to see/hear about your DN surprise when you tell him:thumbsup2

Hey girl!!

I can see how that would not be the best! If we went back, I would stick with the spaghetti and meatballs, how can you go wrong with that :rotfl2::rotfl2:
