Spiderman with a 4 year old?

Hello all,

This will be our first trip to US/IOA!
My 4 year old DS LOVES Spiderman and he is tall enough to go on most rides.
From what I've read; Spiderman seems quite intense. Is it too intense for a 4 year old? Specifically the 360 turns; are they upside down? And just how bad is the drop?

Hi,

On our last trip, my ds was 3, and we took him on spiderman, he really really wanted to go........... and while he was big enough to ride, he did get scared and didn't want to go again. It's not that it's "scary", there is just a lot going on, and the car moves a lot, it's loud, and dark, but not really "scary". Perhaps, next time he'll like it better, but he wasn't ready for it. I'd say ride it first, then decide if you think your son will like it. I really don't recall a drop, so it must not have been bad.......... but, I was trying to pay attention to my little one, who wanted to get in my lap!!!!

My 4yo daughter loved it! But then, she's not afraid of anything. Well, except for the rides with hot fire. She didn't like those. My 6yo son and 9yo nephew didn't like Spiderman, even with the 3-D glasses off. My 10yo daughter was ambivalent.

As for me, it's a great ride!
