Ministry of Magic express line

Now that Ministry is also included in the Express pass, are there specific scenes you miss in the line when using Express?

Also, what are wait times for the ride now in regular line vs. Express?

I got the EPs a while ago.
We got here yesterday and are at Helios with a park view.
It is absolutely amazing.
Watched the light show from our room and it’s so cool how basically the whole park is part of it.
I’ll check the posted wait times for regular lines vs ep today.

Well, we had the EP today and the wait posted for MoM was 150 minutes this evening around 5. We got to the ride vehicle in 35 minutes with ep.
A family who got on with us said they waited 3 hours in the regular line.
They did check for ep in the line either 3 or 4 times.

Overall, the waits with ep today were about 1/4 that of the posted wait.
The Mario ride lines included.

Did not ride carousel, yoshi or stardust racers.

35 min. sounds really good! Do you miss any good parts of the line when using EP?

I don’t think so. The ep line seemed to run along one side of the regular line.
But when the regular line snaked back and forth multiple times, the ep line was a straight shot through.

EP goes through Umbridge’s office with her house elf, so you don’t miss that. There is the moving vacuum cleaner that you go past but the regular line kind of blocks the view a bit (not enough that I would want to spend the extra couple of hours to get a closer look though).

My son and I both thought that the ride was a mashup of Spider-Man and FJ. I usually feel a bit queasy after FJ but this ride is smoother or something because it didn’t make me feel that way.

Thanks for the data points. I've been constantly refreshing the VIP tour hoping something would pop up for our trip. But will probably just pocket that money and stick with the EP now.
