Exactly what does Spiderman do? Is it a simulator or do you really move on a track? The description mentions a free fall. How far is it? Is Spiderman a roller coaster?

I have two very unadventurous seven-year-olds who would like to go on this - if it's not too scary!

Its a 3D Motion Based Simulator that runs on a track. There is not Free Fall, you simulate a fall but don't actually fall. It's not a coaster.

If you have been on BTTF and MIB it's not worse then them.

You could call Spiderman "Wild" a bit.

It's not scary, more like suprising. The ride is difficult to describe since it combines about 3-4 separate types of rides/shows into one attraction.

The "freefall" is simulated and you don't really fall.

The ride is on a track, but it has hydraulics and it spins around, while there are live action/3D effects all around you.

the travel channel often runs a behind the scenes special on US/IOA. It shows the inside workings of Spiderman. IT really helped my then 4 DD to see the inside of the ride before ridding it. She knew it was "just" movies and a flat track so she wasn't afraid to ride at all. In fact she loved it.
