Spending my birthday in Disney! Oct 2010 PTR - UPDATED 10/11 TR STARTED

Nope...you gotta come party it up with me at Jellyrolls when I turn 21 in 2011. And order a drink in a pineapple with me. AND...ride ToT 21 times in one day. I decided that one this past trip...a lot of people do shots, but I'm not a huge drinker, so I thought this sounded more fun.

Anywho...speaking of DHS...GO TO STARRING ROLLS CAFE!!! You won't be able to go for dinner because I believe they close at 4. So go early and use a snack credit for a cupcake. I suggest the Butterfinger one BUT if you aren't a fan, there are other ones that look delicious. Seriously. Do it for me. I'll CRY if you don't. I don't want you to miss out!! Just wait til I mention it in my ptr. We almost completely switched our last day plans for the sole purpose of going and having more.

Um...yay for being less than 2 months away!!

Sounds good to me! If I can get the time off and afford it, I seriously would come out there for your birthday, for a long weekend at the very least.

I promise I will make a stop at Starring Rolls Cafe. I've read about it in people's TRs too many times to count but have never made a point to stop there. I will for you!! Butterfinger cupcake sounds good to me. I love butterfingers!

It's up for debate at the moment. We have a 1 bedroom suite at the Boardwalk for me, my son (1), his father, my mom, and my brother. But its really expensive and we were hoping to switch that reservation over to the Yacht or Beach club...both of which are TOTALLY booked. So now we are looking into 2 rooms at the Coronado Springs or Port Orleans-French Quarter. My mom has been waiting for Disney to announce the AP rates for the fall before she makes her decision, but at the latest, we will decide by tomorrow.

The Boardwalk is a beautiful resort! Have you checked what the rates would be with the new discounts they published today?

Yes, we have been stalking it all day long. We really like the Boardwalk but for some reason, my mom doesn't want to go deluxe unless its at the Yacht and Beach club. I think shes just going to go back and forth for a while until a really good deal comes up last minute. Our last trip to the cabins at Fort Wilderness, she called almost everyday, and about 3 weeks before we left, she got them to knock the price down from around $300/night to $189/night. While I prefer some hotels over others, I really will be happy anywhere.

Your mom is one persistent lady! At least it works for her and she knocked the rate down. Hopefully, she can do it again!

We were going to stay at SSR in a 2 BR Villa with my TA discount but since free dining came out, we scaled it back to Pop Century. I've stayed there quite a few times and like it but I'm bummed I won't be trying out a new resort this time around!

Good news! Just made our final payment! We are paid in full!



Now all I have to do is wait for our Mickey Mail and shortly after that, it will be time to go! I'm so excited!!!!!

Sorry if I've been a bad DIS friend lately. It's been super busy at work and that's usually my time to DIS, during my downtime. I haven't had much of that lately since summer is coming to an end and we have a lot of people calling and coming in for last minute trips. I finally had some free time today so I think I'm all caught up on everybody's TRs and PTRs.

I hope everyone had a good weekend! I went to see Maroon 5 on Sunday, they were great. Adam Levine (the lead singer) is too funny. I've been to a lot of concerts this summer, it's been awesome!

I got two phone calls and walk in for Disney yesterday. It's been picking up for Disney quite a bit. I've also been emailing a client of mine a lot who I've booked there twice before. It's been crazy!

It's super slow at work today and this day is dragging. I've been surfing the web practically all day with the occassional customer or phone call here and there. So why not udpate my PTR?

Nothing trip related really. I got an email from Disney shopping about the newest D&B bags. I want the purple one!

Kris's cat knocked chocolate milk on my current bag (ick) so I forwarded the email to him and said maybe his cat could buy me one of those.

Looking through the collection I found a few other things that I liked.

I love, love, love them! They're super cute and I love how colorful they are. If I have extra money to spend (fingers crossed!) I'll splurge on one for myself while we're there.

I adore the Disney Dooney and Burke bags-- the pink wristlet is adorable!! The cross body ones (especially purple) are really cute too-- and probably more practical for me, because I don't tend to carry such "Disney" stuff IRL. But I'd totally use that cross body as my park bag!
Also-- yay for being paid off!! You're so close!

The D&B bags are too cute. We saw the most adorable D&B bags on our Disney cruise this summer. I fell in love!! But, I was scared I would only use it at Disney. I love the Princess D&B bag!! Love love love! The wristlets are adorable too.

If only they weren't so expensive.. ugh.

EDIT: How could I forget? When I read this, I immediately thought of you!! It's almost official: NKOTB and BSB are touring together.. and they're thinking of bringing back Boyz II Men.. I'm not sure what I think about all of this. But, it certainly will be a Boy Band Dream Tour!
