going to disneyland paris in july for a week, just myself and my daughter who is 3 and a half, its her first holiday so i want to be able to spoil her. How much money would you recomend i bring??

If you loosely plan your meals then you can roughly price up how much you will need to spend on food.

Heres a link with menus and prices

Spending money for gifts etc, I can't really say how much because it depends on how much you want to buy/suitcase space etc.
I think I only spent around 150euros last time! but tbh its probably more, because my mum bought me stuff secretly so I don't know how much it cost :/

Happy planning :)

well i already have the buffalo bill show and a character dinner booked and paid for, was thinking of booking a princess dinner but dont know. I was thinking of bringing 1300 as my little girl has none of the costumes yet, its her first time in dlp!!

She is a lucky girl, I'm sure you'll have a magical time. You might want to look at getting costumes before you go (she will love wearing them at home too!)
If you get them from ebay or TK Maxx (I've seen lovely ones in there and wished I had a wee girl to buy them for!) you could definitely save money. They are a lot more expensive in the parks.

I agree on both counts!
I would do a rough budget for food and write down who you want to being back things to and how much you want to spend on them.
I would also get dresses before you go as they are €60.
As a rough guide adults tees are around 25. Kids are around 10. Soft toys are around 15/20. Sweets start at around 3 and magnets start around 3.50. Keyrings start at 4. All prices in euros.
Also when you get into Disneyland Parc on your left you will see City Hall, right next door is a bookshop where you can get autograph books and pens. They are a great keepsake and my Dd loved meeting the characters and getting them to sign them. A book and pen will cost about €10.

i would definently take your own costumes!!!!ebay is a brilliant place to get a wide variety of them and some that are maybe a little bit different.this year my dd will be getting the rapunzel costume at dlrp which is 60 euros purely because i cant find another one that i like as much :rotfl:

all her other costumes are from marks and spencers and ebay and some of them are much nicer than you see in the parks.even getting them in your local disney store before travelling at about £30 per costume is considerably cheaper!!!

i totally understand what you mean about spoiling her but honestly its so much cheaper to buy before you go and you could always pack them secretly and then when shes asleep the first night unpack them into the wardrobe with a note from mickey or minnie to say welcome to dlrp and that they hope she enjoys the costumes

thanks for the advice, dublin just got its first disney store so looks like ill be buying costumes before i go!!

I would recommend looking on the website too :) the site has alot more (although postage prices are an issue) but if you type in 'sale' into the search bar it brings up all the items that have reduced prices :D theres alot of toys and tshirts up there at the moment (any of these that are in your store should be reduced too)

Id also try tesco as they do good quaility dresses. I was kicking myself that I missed their 3 for 2 offer a couple of months ago as I would have had three princess dresses for €25.
Have you been in the Grafton Street shop yet? Going to bring my Dd when theyre on school hols.

kizzabel i was in the grafton st disney store on the day of the opening!! I was more excited then most of the kids there!! I didnt think it was that expensive but mabye thats because i havent been near a disney store in 7 years!! Heard a few people sayin it was a rip off...
