Probably an old topic and I know enough is never enough when it comes to Orlando but what would be a good level of spending money to take on a 2 week holiday? This time I don't think we will be going to any of the outlets but will still be spending in the parks.

Also will be staying onsite so will need to buy meals etc :)

How many are going, adults and children? Also any discounts you may have for dining and do you ahve park tickets already purchased?

Claire ;)

Sorry - oops should have mentioned that info :) 2 adults and 1 child and we have already purchased theme park tickets. No plans for dinner reservations etc and will generally be eating at the resort or the parks....gulp.

I would say about $150 a day should be fine for food and a few treats, but have a few $ in reserve for souvenirs or a credit card :)

We always spend around the same every holiday, averages out at $100/day. Last August put everything except tolls onto Nationwide CC, 25 nights spent £1,200 for 3 adults. That covered food, snacks, drinks, and things we bought to bring home. Eat lunches in parks but offsite for evening meals so if all meals onsite probably cost more.
I always spend time before every holiday joining websites for free desserts, buy one meal get one free, 50% off, free ice cream etc etc. don't get teh same offers onsite unfortunately.

Thanks for this - are there any "usual suspect" websites that I shoudl be looking at for these freebies? I'm totally ignorant when it comes to these things as all I remember when going last time was picking up a couple of voucher books which weren't very good.

We are 2 adults and 2 teens, our ballpark figure is $150 per day, we've never gone over this, although it varies from day to day, it averages at less than the $150.
