Hi again everyone,

I know what ur all thinking, im getting carried away with all these questions :lmao:
I loved planning our Disneyland Paris trip last year, but i am even more excited to be planning a great big WDW trip :wizard:

We are travelling next year 30th April - 14th May 2010 (14days) and i am going with my husband and my 4yr old daughter.
We will be sharing a Villa with my 2 sister in-laws and their husbands and 1 more child. So food shopping for the villa, petrol and parking will be shared between 3 families.

We are planning to cook breakfast at home, take a few snacks in the park for during the day and eat outside the parks.
Kids will have their own pocket money to buy Disney merchandise.
And we would like to do a bit of shopping in Florida and grab some bargains that we cant get in the UK.

Do you think that £1500 will be enough for 2 adults and 1 child (4yrs old) for 2 weeks in Florida. Or isnt it enough???

Thanks for your advice :goodvibes

Is the £1500 for all purchases including shopping trips? If not too extravegant should be fine, but beware once you see what is on offer in Florida at the Outlets you may need more!

Claire ;)

for me that is ample, but its like how long is a piece of string.you will get different opinions.we budget for food and drink £100 per day for the 4 of us

Oh dear and both me and my hubby are easily tempted too and we do like a nice bargain
We wont shop too extravegant, but mainly for Levis and things that we cant get in the UK at that price.
Perhaps we should stretch to £2000 but im not sure if we can though, need to do my figures and work it all out.

We are 2 adults and a teen, not into shopping but buy a few bits, don't eat breakfast, lunch in a park and evening meal offsite. Plus petrol but no parking as we have annual passes.
We used to average $100/day whan we stuck to cheaper places (Golden corral, Ponderosa etc) now we eat at places like chilis, Logans roadhouse etc cost a little more so we average around $125/day. But I am coupon mad, hardly ever eat a meal thats not buy one get one free or $10 off etc.

my self i would say about $200 a day that should cover it just take the same amount out each day if you got money left over put it a side and by the last few days you got all this extra dollars to spend on what you want.

Can you get alot for $200 a day?? How much roughly is that in £'s ??

I am thinking to let my daughter take her own pocket money with her
around £150- £200 with her for 14days and she can use this to buy Disney toys and things from the gift shop.
Then our money will be for Drinks,Snacks, a food shop for self catering (mainly breakfast/drinks and snacks only) and eating out every evening in a resturant outside the parks.
Plus a nice shopping trip around the shops in Florida grabbing those bargains :rotfl:

We are 2 adults and 2 children age 6 and 10. we take about $2000 with us that gives us $100 a day and $600 spare. we eat out for lunch and dinner every day at places like rainforest cafe , logans road house, counter service in the parks and we also do a character meal at least once. we also like places like golden coral.

you take as much as you can afford and you will be ok. £1500 is enough for you and your family. we usually bring back a couple of hundred anyway.

We normally take about £2000 and thats for 5 of us for 2 weeks and that covers everything pretty much. We do several character meals in that too.
