That's an interesting observation. We haven't reached that point yet but we have with some Disney attractions and even one Disney themepark. I never thought of it in terms of value before.

My point is "value" is a wide range.

If a family is spending $2,000 at WDW, they must figure the value is there. The value may very well be less than a previous trip. But high enough to pull the trigger. Likewise the value could be higher just from the Frozen Fireworks or 7DMT.

I know there are guests that went Value in 2005, then Deluxe in 2015 and found the 2015 vacation had more value than the 2005 trip.

I'm just saying there are a lot of ways to make it work, unemployment for example is not one of them, 20 hours PT work not so much either.

But have also said guests want more more more. Deluxe or mod, hard ticket events, longer stays, hoppers, better dining etc-that's where the breakdown in affordability can play a bigger role IMO.

All you seem to be saying is that the perception of value varies. What you might find of great value I might find useless and vice versa.

Exactly-that is all that I'm saying. And the value is apparently at a level to increase attendance.
