Speculation

I have taken time off from WDW. My last trip was in May/june of 2015 and wont be going again for a few years. Dont fret though( not like you were lol) i live 2 miles away from DL. Im waiting for them to open/announce word on Star wars land in Florida and Toy Story Land, knowing how fast, trying not to laugh, disney moves would 4 years be a good speculation for when they are open for a full year?(3 for construction and then the additaional new smell year?)

According to the Major Projects Completion Date thread on the Rumors and News Forum,

1. Toy Story Land- set to start construction in Early 2016 (rumored for late 2017, early 2018 completion)

2. Star Wars land- set to start construction in early 2016 (rumored for 2019 completion)

Those are some aggressive times there. I would be quite impressed if EITHER of those additions opened that quickly.

Disney wants to have everything complete for the 50th anniversary. I would expect that by 2020 everything would be up and running with little to no construction in preparation for the 50th.

Our next trip with the kids we are aiming for 2020 or 2021 for everything to be up and running.
