Me too!! Can't wait for the mini sip 'n snack game, should be fun!

I know I'll last until midnight, big time night owl here. :)

Yay for Epcot! Yes, I too am looking forward to visiting this park with an entirely different perspective. :cool1:

Very much looking forward to snacking around the World Showcase and trying all of those yummy sounding treats..... and of course my very first Grey Goose Slushie!! :drinking1

The drinks, the food, the rides, the sites, the company..... it'll feel almost brand new! I'm going to try my darndest to last until closing!

I promise to do an update about the Mini Sip n' Snack game that I came up with but I need to update my own PTR first....poor thing has been left to die a slow death! :lmao:

World Showcase is the prefect place to hang out with new friends....not to mention having a few drinks, eating some snacks and checking out those neat things in the countries that you can't do with kids.

I'm planning on making it to Midnight!

Your Epcot plans sound like so much fun! It would be nice to just take time and explore the World Showcase sometime, I feel like it gets over-looked a lot. I can't wait to hear what you come up with for the sip n snack game! How clever and funny!

Great updates and touring plans Scrappie! You ladies are so organized! That Grey Goose Slushie will be mine next October! I wasn't able to get one last November because I was pregnant. I'll look to you ladies to give me your opinion on which one you like better, the Grey Goose or the Grand Marnier Slushie.:love::love:

That's on my list too.....if I can get hubby to quit trying to plan "my" days for me (while he's doing his thing). But which one is the lemonade-y one???

I'm by no means an expert, but I believe the Grand Marnier Slushie is fruity. I don't know about the Grey Goose either, other than it's made with Grey Goose Vodka.;) Can anyone out there clarify this for the alcohol newbies?:rotfl:

The Grey Goose Slushie is the lemonade-y one. Very mild in my opinion. I've told the ladies that they may all taste test my first one so they know if they like it and want their own. But I also told them to keep their straws out of my Dole Whip float

If anyone is having trouble falling asleep tonight.....I updated my family vacation PTR today (first link in siggie)

I love your EPCOT game! I can't wait to hear more details about this game!! What fun you guys are going to have!! Hmmm...so are we taking bets on who is going to last the longest LOL!!!!

Wow - you really have this trip planned out! I think it's great how you made a chart with everyone's name. It is so easy to forget doing something you really wanted to do before you leave for Disney. Sure wish my name was on there!!! ;)

Looking forward to future reads. :surfweb:

A great big :welcome: to our new readers!!

You're going to love the sip 'n snack game... Heidi's been working very hard on that one!

LisaKeys: I love your Minnie Nurse avatar!!

WDW lush here,:thumbsup2. If my memory from 2008 is correct the Grand Marnier is orange tasting and the Grey Goose Slushie (my personal favorite ) tastes lemonade-ish.

Mmmmm, asking myself if I can fit both of them in to our day without passing out later..... :scratchin

I love the Epcot plans. Have you heard there is a new caramel shop in Germany? I am looking forward to visiting it during our Halloween Weekend.

How do you create those wonderful touring cards? Do you have a template to share?

Thank you ladies so much for answering my slushie questions! Now, how can I get to have both of them next year......;)

The Epcot game sounds like it will be very fun and could be a great challenge! Lovely plans at Epcot!!

Yes I have heard of the new Carmel Kitchen! Here's the write up from the Disney Blog:

Opening today, September 30th, Karamell-Küche (which is German for caramel kitchen) is opening its doors to let the scent of fresh caramel float through the walkways of the Germany Pavilion and onto Epcot World Showcase. This new shop will engulf you in the sights and smells of an old world German caramel shop. Storck USA, makers of Werther’s Original Caramels, invite you to sample a variety of tasty treats – brownies, cookies, and fudge – all created using Werther’s famous caramel. In addition, Cast Members will make homemade caramel corn, caramel covered apples and caramel covered strawberries right before your eyes at Karamell-Küche. A fun fact about this unique shop is that it is the only freestanding retail location for Werther’s in the world, and not only will carry items made fresh daily but a variety of specialty merchandise and gifts that are only available at Epcot.

YUM!

Those are my touring plan cards. I made them in Publisher. I just use text boxes to create the format. They print out to a half sheet which I print on a heavy weigh paper. And there is usually enough space on back to tape a map to it if you want/need. I made a personalize set for my friend who took her young friend she mentors to WDW. She said my planning cards saved their trip because she could just look at it and get back on track.

Your Epcot day sounds wonderful! I love the game and the spreadsheet!

2) play Heidi’s Sip and Snack game…I’ll let her explain more about this later…but basically each MOM will pull one country name from a hat (excluding US & Canada) and then we will pull a food description from another hat. We must eat or drink something that fits that description at our country pick…sounds fun?

In theory it sounds like a fun game, but I'd be afraid I'd get stuck with something too adventurous! :rotfl2:
