Thanks Heidi!! It's a bit cold & rainy for a dole whip here today, but I can't wait to have one with you in Janaury!!! Hopefully it won't be too cold then too! But I guess a little ice cream on your gloves isn't the worst thing in the world if you are at Disney!

That is the Dole Whip Float that I had in October of 2008....it was so cold out that day - that it didn't melt, which is actually kinda nice when eating something like that

What is the most magical place in all of Walt Disney World? (Sorry for the random photo sizes.)
The Magic Kingdom of course!

We’ll be visiting Magic Kingdom on two separate occasions - Friday morning & again on Saturday night.

On Friday we’ll arrive in time to catch the opening ceremony:

Then we’ll work our way from Tomorrowland to Adventureland catching all of our favorite attractions along the way!

We’ll try to defeat Zurg:

Take a spin through time:

Take a tour of Tomorrowland:

Fly through space:

See what kind of trouble Donald can get himself into:

Listen to our favorite dolls sing:

See if one of us will become the 1000th happy haunt:

Grab some lunch:

Go mining for some gold:

Hang out with Captain Jack:

Catch a show:

And soak up all the magic the Magic Kingdom has to offer!



Who doesn’t love the Magic Kingdom at night?

Saturday night, after our fun ADR at 1900 Park Fare, we’ll zip over to the Magic Kingdom on the monorail just in time to catch the Main Street Electrical Parade:

And everyone’s favorite night time spectacular – Wishes:

Then we want to experience the attractions that are best after dark:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

The Haunted Mansion

And The Jungle Cruise

We’ll end the night with a classic Disney treat (thanks for the photo Heidi):

Just came across your PTR. My son Ryan is 4 and was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at the age of 2. Our trips overlap, we'll be there Jan 15-22nd, staying at BCV. I'm looking forward to reading more about your touring plans, I have yet to really do much in that way for our trip b/c things keep changing!

Sounds like an awesome two days at MK! I love the opening ceremony!! And, I love after you enter and they sing "I'm walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A"! Gives me goose bumps!

Thanks for all the dancing and welcome to our new reader, MyThreeBoys!

It's so hard to believe that our mom getaway trip is less than 1/4 of a year away! Soon it will be time to hit the travel-size aisle at Target!

Sorry to have been such a stranger on the boards... life getting in the way... blah-blah-blah. Thank goodness everyone here is so forgiving!

Will try very hard to catch up on everyone's TRs and PTRs this weekend...
