We are going to Disney last week in April, does anyone know what time the parade starts and what the best place to see it. Thanks for any help you can give me.

wdwinfo.com or the WDW website. wdwinfo is blocked at my work otherwise I'd just post the link.

I'm guessing it's about 8 PM with Wishes at 9. On a busy weekend (Easter), it may run twice.

I am not sure of the exact time of the parade, but I think the best place is up towards the front entrace on mainstreet. We like to get there at least 15 to 20 minutes early. Sit around that little round a bout in the middle. We go there every time!:thumbsup2

The WDW web site www.waltdisneyworld.com put their calandar and event times out 5 months in advance. You can go to their site and get the current park hour and event times for all of the parks.

Spectro is scheduled for 9:00 PM during that week with no parades scheduled for the 28th and 30th.

Where to watch is a matter of preference - as is a lot of things. Most people prefer to watch around Main Street. We have watched it from there and the view is nice. My biggest issue is that unless it's the second parade of the night you generally have to wait a long time for a seat. If you're looking to exit the park quickly after the parade stand in the center of the circle in front of the train station. You can get a great view with a quick egress. We generally stay in the park afterwards and opt for a spot at the end of the parade route. There is an area that CMs keep open for people to cross the parade route until right before the parade arrives. If the MK is not busy we can usually gets some rides in while the parade is starting. If it is busy we will have to wait awhile but not like the wait on Main Street.

Frontierland is a good spot to go to, if you don't want to be staking your spot for an hour. Just remember, the parade steps off at 9pm on main street, so that means it's like 20mins before it gets to Frontierland.

You can also watch wishes from the wooden bridge across from peco's. Good view of the Castle, and fireworks. But it doesn't quite give you the full effect since it's meant to be seen from straight on.

When I watch from the hub area, stay behind the Walt/Mickey statue. Pretty much make an invisible line from the tomorrowland bridge to adventureland bridge, and stay behind it. A lot of people gather in that large area in front of the Partner's Statue, directly in front of the Castle.... and well the fireworks are shot off from behind Small World, so you have a great big Castle in the way.
