Can anyone tell me the parade route, specifically where it starts and where it ends? We are going in February.
Any advice on where to stake out a good spot? Ideally, that spot would be not super crowded, close to bathroom, easy to park a stroller there, maybe have a curb for 5 little guys to sit on (+2 babies in stroller) (2 families - not all mine!).

Welcome to the DIS, momlee4.

It runs from Main Street to Frontierland. As for location, I enjoy the Frontierland area, or the area closer to Liberty Square, around the Liberty Tree Tavern. Those areas take care of all your items listed there.

Thanks - for the welcome and the advice! :)
That sounds perfect, I knew the parade went through Frontierland, but wasn't sure exactly where, so by telling me Liberty Tree Tavern, I've now got a landmark of where to park everyone! Plus we're eating dinner there.

Spectromagic is my favorite part of WDW and I always watch from Frontieland. There are plenty of spots for strollers and for little ones to sit and there is a restroom that seperates Frontierland from Adventureland!!! And you get to see all of the floats go home at night next to Splash Mountain. Have a magical trip!

I also like being by the Liberty Bell and my other fav. spot is in front of Casey's

We always watch from in front of the Hall of Presidents. Its not too hard to find a spot, and there are places for food nearby. I usually use the Columbia Harbor House restroom.

A look at the Parade Route
SpectroMagic and the 3 O'Clock Parade both start near the Firehouse and exit near Splash Mtn.
MVMCP and MNSSHP Parades both start near Spalsh Mtn. and exit near the Firehouse.

Thanks everyone. Looks like Frontierland wins over Main Street.

Follow-up question: after the 7pm Spectromagic parade, would we have time to hop on the train in Frontierland and end up at the main entrance and catch Wishes at 8pm?

Robo~ What are the three crossovers you have marked on the map?

Thanks

Places where guests can cross between Frontierland and Adventureland.

The "cross overs" can get you away from the parade crowds (or TO the Frontierland parade area) by walking through Adventureland.

It's likely the train will be shut down by the time Spectro ends in Frontierland.

It stops running as it nears time for Wishes due to the tracks' close proximity
to the main fireworks launch area.
(You can always double-check for when it will stop running when you are there.)

Your safer bet is to cross over into Adventureland and walk to the Hub/Main Street that way.

Thanks again Robo. I think your crossovers will come in very handy! I love this board for info like that!
Will we get any places to sit near the main entrance after Spectromagic? Or do most people park it in 1 spot for both Spectro and Wishes?
