SpectroMagic Parade Question

DH and I saw it for the first time last year and it is a must-see on this year's trip in November!!!

Question about Spectromagic-- What direction does the parade run (starting at the front of the park vs starting in frontierland)? I'm wondering which direction it runs on nights where they only have 1 parade at 8 PM vs when they have 2 parades at 8 & 10 PM. We are trying to make dinner reservations (at Jiko--we'll need to take the AK bus) and want to know when Spectromagic would be done, how much time we need to leave to get there (and change) etc...

Any help is greatly appreciated! TIA!

Spectromagic always starts at Main Street even if there are two performances on the same evening.

SpectroMagic is about 17 minutes from beginning to end.
If you count the opening announcement by Jiminy Cricket through his "goodbye" at the end.

It comes into Main Street between the Fire Station and the Barbershop, circles counter-clockwise around the flagpole "island" and then goes on up Main Street toward the castle/hub, 3/4 circles the hub CCW, enters Liberty Square, turns toward Frontierland, makes its way down the Frontierland street and finally exits Frontierland near Splash Mountain.

If Spectro starts at 8pm, and you can find a viewing spot near the train station (as was suggested) you can be out the front gates and gone by about 8:20pm.

BTW, if you exit EXACTLY when you FIRST catch a glimpse of MINNIE MOUSE (she's the last "big star" in the parade) you'll beat a few hundred people to the exit.
Alternately, if you WAIT until her float has PASSED BY, you'll probably be in the THICK of folks exiting.
