SpectroMagic parade location/dinner plan?

We would like to see this parade on a Thursday night (9:00) next month. We would like to have dinner at MK before the parade, at either Tony's or the Plaza. 1 - what do you think of these restaurants?
2 - what time would you make the reservation for?
3 - can you recommend a good location to view the parade?

we ate at liberty tree tavern and walked right out to watch the parade.make your ressies about a hour and a half before

I haven't eaten at Tony's, but I love LTT. The food there is really good. I agree with the PP in saying that make the ressie about 1 1/2 to 2 hours beforehand. And (this is just me) my favorite spot is Barber Shop on Main Street. If you pick LTT, Frontierland is a good place (and if possible, attend the 2nd spectro if there is one. ALWAYS a lot less crowded).

AS long as you don't take my spot on our night in January, I'll tell you...try the veranda at Tony's. I know the food there doesn't get rave reviews, usually, but it's adequate AND it is still my #1 favorite spot to eat in the MK. W atching Spectro from the veranda (over a plate of tiramisu!) is close to heaven for me! I agree with the others...get your reservations for an hour or hour and a half before, request a table on the porch and enjoy a leisurely meal followed by the parade. To die for, IMHO!
