SpectroMagic Parade and Rain

Does anyone know if Disney will still do this parade, even if it rains? As my luck would have it, it seems that our Orlando weekend getaway is going to possibly be in the rain which does keep the crowds down, but what about the parade and fireworks? Sigh ...

A couple summers ago they waited until the rain had subsided and did the parade just a bit later. During some times during the year they have the parade scheduled twice anyway.

If it rains hard enough, they will cancel the parade, but they will try their best to send out at least a partial parade before downing it altogether.

There were several times last year when they canceled it. In fact, one day both the Spectros were canceled. Although, there was one day when they started Spectro after a delay due to rain, and then in the middle lightning and thunder started! I guess that they cut the rest of the parade off, but I wonder what happens to the parade already out when that happens.

We were there last September and it was pouring out. We ask a CM about SpectroMagic running in the rain. He said he has seen it run in worse rain than that but it is the thunder and lightning that will stop it.
