Spectromagic - best viewing place ??

Can anyone tell me the best viewing places for Spectromagic and also the afternoon character parade?

I am so glad I read these boards.............I naively assumed that
Sprectromagic was on every night YIKES !!!!!! I am taking my daughter to that instead of Wishes as she is terrified of fireworks.
I'll have to change my itinerary now and go on a Saturday night to see it. Will it be very crowded?

We'll be in Orlando 2-15Dec . We are going to MVMCP on 9th dec which is a Tues so didn't plan to go to MK on the Monday when Spectro is also on. I suppose it'll be nice to be in MK the last Sat night before coming home.

Any advice would be very welcome.

Does anyone recommend Fantasmic??

Hey, I'm there about the same time!!

My favorite places are:

1. Second floor of the train station on Main Street (get there early to get a chair)
2. In front of the train station.
3. In front of the castle
4. Just over the bridge of Liberty Square

Just make sure to grab a spot early, since it will fill up fast. If you are going to leave the park right after the parade, I would strongly recommend grabbing a seat closest to the entrance. This way you are one step ahead of the crowds.
