Anyone know what the route is for Spectro and/or is it available on a website anywhere? We have never seen it and look forward to seeing it next week! Any suggestions on a great place to watch it? Does it run through Frontier Land?

Thanks, in advance, for any and all help!

I know it comes UP Main St (from the Castle to the train station) but don't know where is starts from. I DO know of a GREAT spot to watch it from though!! :D We sat along the curbs down where the American flag is (in front of the train station). The parade needs to slow down to go around the bend there....you really can see it and take some great pictures or video!! :hyper:

Starts at the car barn on Main Street (next to the Barber shop) and ends in Frontier Land. The regular 3pm parade goes in the opposite direction.

It's odd how the parades I watched last year EACH came in the same direction! I watched them all from the same place so I am sure about the direction.....from the castle to the train station....around the flag pole....and from there.......... I don't know!

I would suggest checking the map when you get into the park to check the route that is listed. ::yes::

A great place to watch SpectroMagic is in front of the Barber Shop. It's right where the parade begins, and hardly ever cowded. 2 weeks ago (on a Saturday night) we watched the parade from a spot directly across the street from the barber shop. We were able to grab a bench only 15 minutes before the parade and had a perfect, unobstructed view. (this area is across from the barber shop in front of the Car Barn and the guest relations/restroom area)

And since this spot is at the begining of the parade and near the park exit, it's easy to beat the crowd out of the park without getting stuck in the mass exodus that usually follows Spectro.

You must have been there when they were filming. The only time that Spectro runs from Frontierland to Main Street as you are describing is when they are filming it for something (this way the floats are coming up Main Street with the castle behind them...this is very rare). The night parades begin on Main Street at the Car barn go around in front of the train station, down Main Street, to the right of the hub (Tomorrowland side), over the Liberty Square Bridge, through Liberty Square (turning by the Riverboat) and down into Frontierland, ending at Splash Mountain.

My favorite place to watch from is either by the Car barn (so you can see it coming out) or by where it turns at the Riverboat so you can see it coming from Main Street. Frontierland is a great location as well and usually the last part of the parade to fill up since it is the end.

I know the night of the MVMCP parade, they were filming sections of it. It held the parade up at and it was over 45 mintues LATE!!! (at least from our end down by the Confectionary Shop) The night of Spectro Magic was a bit memorable as well. My youngest DD, 8 at the time, was sitting along the curbside under the flag pole. We watched as the parade approached us, then turned right to go around the pole. My daughter had her legs outstretched in front of her. The Big Bad Wolf approached her.....and kicked her legs!! :earseek: Since she wasn't paying attention to him and was watching the float make the turn there, it scared the bee-jeepers out of her!! ::yes:: We all laughed as she yelled "Hey!! He kicked me!!!" :bounce:
