Spectro Magic!?

"Oh, nobody enjoys that parade and it really does not fit into the magic that we try to provide at the park. Let's just trash it."

It must have been a considerable financial investment to produce this outstanding attraction. To let it rot and discard it was a blunder.

I liked it but not everyone likes it. Who cares who made the decision it's done and over with nothing we can do about it.

Funny part was while it ran people complained that they wanted electrical parade back and Spectro wasn't as good

Have to admit, my family was among those that didn't like that parade and wanted the electric parade to return.

Given WDW's track record producing new shows and attractions lately, maybe it would be better to transfer the fully operational parade than to create a new one.

WDW doesn't have problems with new parades though. Festival of fantasy had no issues when it started and is a great parade. New rides are completely different than parades.

This is what hope for. I really wish we could get a new nighttime parade now, but obviously that's not happening, although I would be happy if the created a really good one for the 50th. And I also think that PTN just doesn't fit in with MKs theming(I feel that MK needs some more grand parade and PTN is too hip and pop). But let's hope for something good like FoF.

I love the MSEP. I liked Spectroscopy, but found it too dark, especially with little tikes. I love the whimsy of MSEP, but grudgingly acknowledge that they will come up with something else sooner or later. Now........if they would only trash a Wishes.......

Just joking around. Was thinking more about ROL than Frozen Ever After.. At least a parade would be on solid ground and not water.

MK could use both a new nighttime parade and fireworks show. MSEP & Wishes are both getting quite stale.

I guess it shall be just a distant memory/home video! Interesting to know where it has gone. Well if anyone has a picture of the limited edition pin, that'd be pretty cool to see.

I agree about the music. Paint the Night's is maybe a little better than MSEP, but both of them are incredibly grating before the parade even ends. Spectro had awesome music.

Yup! I just always find it humorous with the spectro vs MSEP debate.

I personally liked both and would at this point prefer something new over either but who knows when and if that will happen.
