Spectro, Illum, Wishes, Fantasmic...Which is your favorite?

If my family can't fit in all of them, which should we definately make room for?

Wishes and IllumiNations. We've done Fantasmic 3 times and no one seems to mind missing it now. But, we have to do Wishes and IllumiNations each and every trip!!! I love Spectro but my family doesn't love it as much as I do...so, I have to catch it in passing.

My preference order would be Wishes, Illuminations, Fantasmic, Spectromagic- but they are all great!

Fantasmic by far the best show. Just make sure you go to the second show. We were there in June and the second show was not full. Just the center section filled up. We sat on the first row center on the small bench. If I could only see one show again at disney for the rest of my life it would be fantasmic.

I think my user name says it all - Wishes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We loved this show when we saw it last summer! I can't listen to the Wishes CD without getting tears in my eyes! Another favorite of ours is Spectromagic. We always go to Disney over our anniversary and make sure we watch this parade on that night. We just love all the nighttime shows so try your hardest to fit them all in if you can!

This past trip we missed Fantasmic and I wasn't all too upset. We caught Illuminations but maybe we weren't viewing from the best spot because it didn't impress me anymore than last time. Spectro is pretty good if you're there already. I don't know that I'd make a special trip for it. Undoubtedly Wishes is tops for me. I was totally blown away by it and am so glad we rushed from Epcot (after seeing Illuminations) to MK to see it. I wish it hadn't been on our last night because I would have liked to have seen it again. Make sure you're in front of the castle to get the full effect of the show. We'd seen parts from behind the castle a couple nights earlier and it wasn't anything special. HTH

1. Wishes fireworks
2. Illuminations
3. Fantasmic
4. Spectromagic Parade

Just to add to the confusion...Fantasmic is a MUST SEE. Wishes is a should see! Illuminations is an...Oh well isn't that nice, glad I saw it. Spectromagic is a parade...in the dark...that has pretty lights and music.

I love them all, but my two favorites are Wishes and Spectro. We like to Watch Wishes first and then stay for Spectro on a night when there are two Spectromagic parades. Since it's your first trip, I'd say try to see them all!

DW and I agree on this order:

1. Illuminations
2. Wishes
3. Spectromagic
4. Fantasmic

Nothing beats Illuminations for me, but I can see how those with small children would like Fantasmic the best.

from the most impt to least thing to see for me is in this order

1. Spectromagic ( since you're there already), wishes

2. Illuminations

3. Fantasmic


And if you really don't want to spend a day ticket into a park I would dinner at O'hana then get to see EWP and Wishes

Fantasmic is a must see in my book, followed by Spectro. We didn't get to see Wishes in the park--DS was exhausted--but we sort of saw it at the bus stop and really want to see it next time.

I have to agree about Wishes.....It is an absolute wonder.

The soundtrack gives me chills, and sometimes a tear. It kinda holds special meaning to me. First time I saw wishes last July, I had been through a tough year.....Kinda made me appreciate being there, with my family. That is what I wish for.....that we can be happy and healthy and together forever.

Enough drama!

My two favorite are Fantasmic and Wishes followed by Illuminations. If you do Wishes, you should be able to do Spectro as well. The one thing that made me upset during our last trip a few weeks ago was that I didn't get to see Wishes and I missed most of Illuminations because I was in line to get a FP for Soarin during the EMH.

Spectro/Wishes together. Nothing tops it because they take place in the most nostalgic park. Save it for the last night, too - it's my favorite way to end the trip!
