I just booked a long weekend (Sept. 29 - Oct. 2) for a Standard view at the Swan at the sweet $99 teacher's rate. I wasn't even planning a trip for that weekend, but at that rate it is worth the drive down! 
I obviously chose the std. view for price, but I don't imagine all standard view rooms are created equal.
What are the best Standard view rooms at the Swan? Which side or part of the hotel would be good to request? Anyone with opinions or experiance with this would be a big help.

PS: Does anyone else find it odd that they offer this fabulous teacher's discount right at the time when the majority of teachers are starting a new school year? I imagine more nurses will get to take advantage of this one.
