Specialty Drinks on the DDP

Last year we used the DDP and it never once occurred to me to order something other than a soft drink or bottled water for my drink. A while back I read on this board that someone ordered a cappucino with their dessert as their drink. That sounded like a great idea. Someone else said they got a milkshake - another great idea.

Are there any other recommendations on creative ways to use your drink credit? Any drinks at specific places that are fantastic and included in the DDP?

The Wave allowed the milk shakes as the drink on the dining plan -- and they were large. Le Cellier allowed non-alcohol fruit smoothies last May

I didn't know that either - Good to know! A milkshake is great after a hot, hot day at the parks.

In a couple of places you can get milkshakes or smoothies as a snack.

We have gotten milkshakes or smoothies at Le Cellier, Sci-Fi, 50's Prime Time, Kona, the Wave, Pepper Market, and Whispering Canyon. I''ve also gotten the blackberry lemonade at the Turf Club.
