Specials for last minute weddings

Hi ladies,

I came across this board and thought only you could help.

My fiance and I have been going back and forth on the Disney wedding idea. We want something small so it sounds perfect... We are also going to be in Disney the last week of August so I started thinking what if we just got married while we were there.

I was wondering does Disney offer any deals if you book it last minute... if so what is considered last minute.

Has anyone else done this. I am thinking we would have an Escape wedding since we are a group of 15 going to Disney
Any suggestions...

They have had the odd offer lately but never to do with Escape weddings and not really last minute deals either.

I don't think they offer anything for last minute bookings.

Maybe give them a call and see what they can do?

I haven't heard of any special deals, but I know they can certainly put together an escape wedding within your timeframe. I have seen them do it in much less time!

We contacted Disney to do our Escape wedding on 3/2/10 and we are getting married 5/23/10 -- so we gave them 2 1/2 months and everything is going very well. I couldn't be more pleased!

I meant to add you can only book an Escape wedding 8 months before anyway.

It's in August so being that it's like 90 degrees and over everyday, I doubt we will have issues in getting a date...
