Does anyone know what specials are being offered to current DVC owners who purchase more points???

For current members there will be no price increase until
June 4th for SSR and AKV.

AKV = $101 pp - $8 incentive = $93 (minimum purchase 100 pts.)
SSR = $101 pp - $10 incentive = $91 (minimum purchase 50 pts.)

Can I do an add-on of 50 points and if so would the use year be delayed or when would it start? Also, if I have 150 points at SSR and 50 at AKV how many points can I use to book at the 11 month window at AKV.

You would have 50 points to book at the 11 month window at AKV. At the 11-month window, you can only use the points you own at that resort. Points you own at other resorts cannot be used until the 7-month window.

You can add on 50 points at either SSR or AKV. At AKV, you have to purchase at least 100 points to get the $8/pt incentive, so the price for a 50-pt add-on would be $101/pt until June. You would get the same UY as your SSR contract and would start with points for your 2007 Use Year. There have been reports that the supply of 2007 points is pretty limited, so once those run out purchasers will get 2008 points with their purchase.

I just bought the AKL for UY of February. I got 2007 points but I chose the discount instead of the developer points. It was 101 then subtract the eight dollar discount for the price. You need to buy the 100 points for the discount and 50 points for the Disney financing. Is that correct??? You cannot book at AKL until Sept of 07 and cannot call until middle of May for the ressie.

Judy, You cannot book until May, and you cannot arrive until September. I thought those who bought at AKV were able to book earlier, though>
