Hey! I'm new here and I just want to say that I've found so much helpful information on here. My fiance and I are taking our second trip to Disneyland in June 2012 and I cannot wait...I keep drooling over the pictures and getting excited over finding all the secrets that people have been talking about.
I was hoping that all you awesome and helpful people could give me some ideas. My parents are members of the Disney Vacation Club and they're so super duper awesome that they used their points so we can stay at the Grand Californian Villas when we visit. This, of course, is like a major treat for us since we can't usually afford such luxury. They did that for us last year, too, as a present for my college graduation and we were absolutely blown away by everything. It was like vacationing in heaven.
My fiance and I really want to do something special to thank them for their generosity, but we're stumped. I thought of taking pictures when we're there, maybe even with a sign that says "Thanks Mom & Dad," (do they even allow you to bring signs into the parks?) and making a collage for them, but that doesn't seem like enough to me. I want to do something that would really show our gratitude.
So we are visiting in late June 2012. My parents will be there in January 2012 for my dad's birthday. I'm trying to come up with something we can do either during our visit or theirs. We can't afford to do anything too extravagant because we don't have much money to spare, but I'm, of course, willing to spend within our means to do something extra special for them. Ideas? Thoughts? I'd love to hear what you guys can come up with!
