Special/Unique Legos at Legoland?

I'm wondering if there are any special or unique legos to buy when we hit Legoland in April. I live pretty close to a Legostore, toy stores, so just wondering if we need to be on the lookout for any special legos that we can't get locally.

Also, DH has been collecting the high end Star Wars lego sets to one day build (when we don't have toddler hands to destroy the works.) He was totally eyeing the Mellenium Falcon & Death Star sets when we were at the DL Legostore last year. Will they have those sets, too? I remember reading somewhere that the DL Legostore was better than the one at Legoland? (if that is even possible.)

I don't know, but please come back and post after your trip! We're going in May. Our plan is three days at Disney, one at Legoland (to take advantage of the homeschool days rate) and then back to Disney. This also provides DS the opportunity to scope out the DTD store, then compare at Legoland and go back to DTD if he decides that's where what he really wants is.

We've never done LL and are so excited.

In the Big Shop the whole back wall is Star Wars Legos. I've never noticed anything missing (which means that everything DD's drooled over in the catalogs she's been able to drool over in the store). They also stock Star Wars stuff in the Studio Store.

Darth Vadar and R2D2 life size models have been missing the last couple times I was there...I'm not sure if they put them back in the Studio Store or had pulled them for refurbishment in advance of Star Wars Miniland's opening.

They always seem to have everything. I've not done a complete check, but everything DD wants (except for one game) I've always been able to find in the store. Price-wise, it's the same as online. (They were out of Belleville for a couple months last year, though.)

Special or unique? They do have seasonal build packs that you can buy to build - right now it's easter eggs in a basket, in Feb it was a heart photo frame. Special loose parts? No.
