Okay,as a Spanish speaker,I can defend some of the Hispanics you are talking about. Ever think they were scared?
I had a friend in 7th grade,she was in brand new from Mexico,no friends,very shy girl,and the only family here was her Mom and Dad.
Thank God I'm bilingual and speak both English and Spanish.
I would speak to her in Spanish,and she would try to respond in ther English she learned/what our classmates taught her. We found out she was scared,didn't want to be living here,was nervous about new country,new language,new school,etc.

Now for the Spanish speakers who are just too lazy to learn English,well I won't defend them. It's not my problem our language is English and you don't know it.
Get over yourself and learn English.

I understand some of the scared speakers , its not like I'm yelling at them "GO BACK TO MEXICO YA FREAK!" lord no! I just am sick of people who NEVER try to speak English and they CAN speak a little English they are just lazy and make people pity them and look so innocent.

yah i agree and some of them lie about not knowing english to get out of work at my middle school there were like 5 kids in each class that didnt speak english and it took so much of the teachers time but its really hard for the teacher cuz they dont know wat to do with the kid who they cant speak to and who cant really do the work
