Special seating?

We are planning our trip for 9/08. I already have quite a few reservations made. While researching things, I came across some mentions of requesting seating at different restaurants. Can/should we request a certain location/view in the restaurant? Is this a good idea?

You can do that once you arrive at the restaurant. For instance, we once asked to be in the main room at 'Ohana so we could be in the area where they start the kids games. You can't always get what you want or you may have to wait quite a bit longer but it doesn't hurt to ask. It just depends how busy they are and what tables are available.
