I just spoke with a CM that siad that if we go to Guest Services at MK on my daughters birthday they will give her a special pin so that CM's and characters will know that it is her birthday and give her a little exter attention. Does anyone know about this!????

All the parks have a birthday button. It's fun to do. Sometimes a CM will wish you a happy birthday, arrange for a phone call from Goofy for your birthday, they could give you a magical moment on a ride.

You can get a birthday pin at all 4 parks and DD too. Just go to Guest Services in each park and ask for a birthday pin! You do not need to show "proof", just ask...there are no birthday police. :teeth:
I took my DGDs for their birthday last year and it was very special! LOTS of CMs wished them happy birthday. One even got a 2 for 1 pin trade because it was her birthday.

Ok, I cannot believe I'm asking this and I don't think I'll have the courage to do this but...can a person turning 40 at WDW also get a button and not look like a dummy? Should said person bother?

You can go to any quest services desk at each park and ask for a b-day button. You don't have to wait for the exact day ... you can ask anytime.

MK & MGM share the same design (characters w/ castle background), AK button has the "Tree of Life" logo. Epcot has a button (not round but rectangular) with Mickey and its' b-day greetings are in different languages. Also, at Downtown Disney GS (just like MK & MGM design).

Have fun, enjoy life and happy birthday to your DD!

Yep! Anyone can wear a bday button! I had so much fun wearing mine last year! I can't wait to wear one again this year!!!

Sure you can get one for any age. I had one for when I turned 50 and loved every minute of it.

Yes! We went last May. My ds turned 5 two days before I turned 40. We each wore the birthday pin on our birthday. I actually received more birthday wishes than he did. No one seemed to even notice that he was wearing the button on his birthday (everyone noticed his blue hair dusted with Mickeys!) Neither of us got any fast passes/front of the line privileges/etc, but I was sung to a couple of times and wished Happy Birthday at almost every ride. Usually, I don't like that kind of attention, but it was fun having it at Disney World and made turning 40 a whole lot easier!
