'Special Offers' - Always to Disney Visa first or just sometimes?

I believe often when Special Offers are released (in particular I'm interested in Free Dining), they're offered to Disney Visa Cardholders first. Is this always the case or just sometimes?

Just curious if anyone has kept track of this.

I think pretty consistently the last few years, yes.

We've been booking under the fall free dining promotion for several years and it has consistently been offered to Disney Visa cardholders 3 days prior to the general public

Thanks everyone! I'm guessing based on this that the next offer(s) will probably go to DV cardholder's first and give us time to figure things out before the offer goes live to everyone. Hopefully something comes out soon!

I've only received around three Disney Visa offers by email before the general public offer came out. I've received one pin code in the past 15 years, and some people get them routinely. I think I'm not on the discount gods' hit parade.

You don't need to wait for the Visa email in order to get any pre-release discount with your Visa. News of early Visa discounts hits the DIS way before Visa sends any email.

I always get the email from Visa AFTER my TA has already applied the discount to my reservation!
