Staying at AoA LM room. First time for our daughters ages 2 & 5! Do you think they’ll do anything special or do you have to purchase everything nowadays?

I remember for our first trip (WL 2008) we made reservation on phone with cast member and mentioned it was our honeymoon. We got a balloon waiting in our room along with Mickey and Minnie signed wedding photo! This time around we made reservation online. I don’t think we mentioned it on reservation, do they do anything special for kids’ first time there?

You received some nice pixie-dust for your honeymoon! You can note on your teservation that this is a first visit for the kids, and if none are offered be sure to stop by Guest Relations for buttons they can wear. But don’t expect anything more than a happy greeting from CMs. If you’d like something specific as a “celebration” (balloons, ear hats, plush, etc.) be sure to plan for it yourself.

Enjoy your vacation!

You may get lucky and they will get a cup cake or something at a meal but it's pure pixie dust it if happens. I wouldn't count on it, if you want to make it more special then a Disney trip is in and of itself, you will need to plan it.

Thanks guys!! 🙏🏼 I’ll mAke sure to ask for those buttons:) and prob just buy some plushies that'll be waiting for them after a long day at the parks!

Agree with what others are saying. Someone is always celebrating something. And thousands of people are on their first visit. How can they keep giving things away to everyone.
