Special Lighting at Reception

Hi! I'm just wondering what kind of special lighting you can do at the reception and what the associated costs are. I'm wondering specifically about having a monogram on the dancefloor. I saw on another site that some special lighting is included in the DJ package. What would that be? What about things like uplighting around the room?

Hey there!

When you book a DJ, there is a basic lighting package. There are colored floodlights on the dancefloor, lighting for your sweetheart table, cake, and DJ. If you want a gobo, they are included in the package- but only ones that are already made and stocked by Disney. (Mickey Head, Cinderella Coach, etc.)

If you want a custom gobo (monogram) made, that would be extra.

you can have uplighting but it is extra. I had asked my planner about it and she said for our room (St. Augustine B-D), it would be starting at around $800.
