Getting close to ADR time so think about planning for the 8 days we are on site. We'll be there durin mmnsshp (I think those are the right letters!) but unfortunately are unlikely to visit as with a 4 year old and 11 month old they probably just wouldn't be able to last too long.

What I'm confused about is on touring plans the park looks very quiet before the party so a great time to visit. We love Liberty Tree Tavern and it's thanks giving dinner but I'm not sure how it works with the park closing at 7 for the event.

Do you need to have finished eating by 7 or be sat down by 7? What happens if you re in the park at 7, do they just chase you straight out? Anyone experienced being there before?

Your ADR needs to be before 7pm and you need to be in the restaurant by that time. If you finish eating after 7pm you will be escorted out of the park once you have finished.

Once 7pm comes you will have CMs checking for event wristbands and anyone without one if directed to the exit and not allowed further into the park.

From experience on party days MK is great till mid afternoon then gets busy. They let party ticket holders in with their party ticket from 4pm.

Thanks that s great advice particularly re 4 pm. Must be strange to be escorted out!!

May do the morning with mid afternoon fp+ before early liberty tree dinner that way when its busy we can skip queues. Good to know wont be rushed at dinner

The escorting out is not subtle! We had a "late" reservatio. At Sci Fi during some Star Wars event... A guard actaully herded us and then followed us until wed left the park. it was a tad uncomfortable!

A guard would do well to herd us out too quick fro we'll prob go for an early dinner it was just to make sure we wouldn't get kicked out of the restaurant.

Can imagine that was an odd experience. Very in Disney!
