Hard to say, in my opinion. The simple answer is that by most accounts, DAH is a “less busy” event than VAH, generally speaking.
The longer answer is that we only have one series of VAH dates to look back on - 10 events this past summer. Those events proved to draw a larger crowd than a typical DAH event - and they also proved to “behave” differently in that there are stage shows, Maleficent rolling around, and other things that draw people out/to the center of the park vs riding rides, which is the focus of DAH. VAH was a seemingly very popular event for many.
This next round of VAH dates from Feb through early July is a relative explosion of events - 24 in total. I think with “so many” dates and the VAH series now occurring during a new time of year (and while also overlapping with DAH), we need to see just what happens.
