Special Effects/Editing Help?????

Hello! I'm attempting to expand my photography love and have seen a special effect I can not figure out! The entire photo is black and white and one item or figure is in color. I have Photo Explosion/Explorer that I use. Someone else said windows should offer photo editing since I have windows xp but I've never used it. Can anyone help me figure this out. Some of the speical effects in other photos are great! Thanks for anyones help!

Hi and welcome to the Photography Board! I'm not familiar at all with Photo Explosion/Explorer software, so I can't help you there. Maybe someone else knows.
