We (members) are going on July 21rst at 3p also! Would love to know more about the fast passes, nothing in my e-mail about them??

They were given to us by the sales staff after the tour. It is a plastic "credit card" with the DVC logo on one side and a magnetic strip on the other, and is officially call a Fast Pass Exchange Voucher.

You insert this into a Fast Pass machine as you would any park ticket. However, instead of being given a FP for the posted return window, it will be good immediately! This works great for the hard to get FP's like Soaring and Toy Story.

If the Fast Passes have all been issued for the day, we found the DVC card also worked in the Birthday FP machine, which is kept open for the B-day celebrators.

Wev were given one card for each person we had taking the tour (party of four) and each card is good for 3 FPs, so use them wisely.

We went to this event yesterday and I wanted to mention that the fast passes were only available to those who buy. We were a little ticked because the wishmeiser said at the end of the program that all would receive fastpasses, but when we asked the rep she said only if you buy you get the fastpasses. We were bummed because we just added on before arriving. A downer for us. BTW -- we did push it a little, but she repeated if we want fast passes we should ask our guide.

We just did the 9 AM event. We listened to the guide and got our fastpass card. We got one card per person, (6) each good for 3 fastpasses. Very low keyed. This place will sell itself. What a view....

Did not buy, but still tempted. Asked if they took trade in's. No they don't.

So if they did not give fast pass after you listened to the speil, they were wrong.

I attended the event after touring and talking to a guide. I received fastpasses without buying.
