Special dietary restricts question

I noticed it said you couldn't bring your own homemade snacks on board.... my kids are gluten free and dairy free and most places do not carry... gf preztels or cookies. Would they allow us to bring those on board?

Also it said that only the meals are included in the price of the cruise, so at the meals you just have free tap water? or purchase a soda or coffee?

You can bring pre-packaged snacks. There are several threads on GF/DF sailing if you search or someone else will pop in to help you out.

Sodas and regular coffee are free at meals. Premium coffees cost extra and sodas at bars/from servers on deck cost. There is a free 24-drink station with a variety of sodas available.

First, call DCL and notify them of your dietary needs. They will make gluten free stuff for your kids, and do carry some in pre-packaged form on board! DCL is THE BEST with allergies and special diets. They will allow you to bring your own, but why if they will provide it for you (you might want to bring a small quantity for excursions or on the way home!)

All beverages except alcohol and specialty drinks (smoothies, virgin drinks, etc) are free in the dining rooms. Sodas are free 24/7 at the beverage station, but you pay for them at a bar, room service, or from a pool area server. Basically, in the dining rooms/beverage station, they are fountain service--free. If it comes in a can, you pay for it.

You can get fruit juices, milk, etc free from room service 24/7. Tap water is good and free all the time, you will be charged for bottled water.
