Special Diet help

Has anyone ever asked about a special menu for person's who underwent gastric bypass? My ma had it in February. We are going to WDW in Nov. She can only eat 4-6 ounces of food at mealtime. We don't wanna pay $25.99 to eat less than my four yr old! Any tips or experiences? I haven't called guest relations yet since I'd rather receive real advice!

CS meals are probably the best bet here. It is not Disney's fault anyone has had gastric bypass (elective surgery, not a special need), so there may not be any special allowances for this.

That is kind of insensitive sometimes there is a special need do to health conditions from the weight.

I would just plan on splitting meals. only ordering an appetizer, buffets she will be charged the same even though she can only eat a small amount. A la carte options at CS are probably going to be one of the best options. She could order kids meals at the CS but honestly does she really want to eat mac and cheese, hot dogs etc...

Thanks. Yummy mac and cheese It's difficult to make a ADR because of this. The 3 restaurants we want to eat at are buffets and they charge by the person, not food. She eats off our plates now but Ruby Tuesdays are different.

And no, eating too much was not the problem. But I hate to have to see eat the kids tasteless food because of it.

My cousin's MIL had GB before their trip to WDW. They did not make any exceptions for buffet style meals. It would be best to do traditional TS if you all want to eat together.
