Special Day Buttons/Pins

Can you get the "1st time at Disney" and the anniversary buttons/pins at the resorts or do they only have them at the parks?

You can get them at either place. We also got some at Guest Relations and DTD.

Thanks for the info.! I think I'd rather get them at our resort when we're checking in rather than wasting valuable park time.

Yes, when they unveiled the new buttons last fall they also made it possible to get them at the resorts when you check in (which is a great thing) so you can get the buttons when you check in.

there are several buttons actually and in a few different languages too - these are the main ones (i think there is a few more)

happy birthday
1st visit

and it's really cool when all the CMs make a big deal of your special occasion -there was a thread with pics of the buttons, but i can't find it, but when i do, i'll post the link

Cool. I didn't know about 1st time buttons. If you mention this at check in, they give you a button, or do you have to ask for it?

So how do you get the Honorary Citizen button? Just ask for it?

We are just back from DW and my kids (15 &17) received 'Congratulation' buttons. We went into City Hall @ the MK to make some dining resv. The CM asked us if we were celebrating a birthday or anniversary, we told her that we were not. She then asked my DS & DD if they were out of school, they told her that they were, and with that she gave them the buttons.

LOL!!! That's cool!! Any excuse eh!!! My daughter has celebrated her last 2 BD there and she has not had any special treatment from CM's .
